Kade POV The pounding in my skull is relentless, a deep, stabbing ache that makes it hard to focus. My body feels too heavy, my limbs sluggish, weighed down by something I can’t place. The air around me is cold, pressing against my bare skin in a way that feels wrong, and when I try to shift, to lower my arms so that I can push myself up, something jerks me back, stopping me mid-motion.

"It's right here. The latest model. Titanium. 512 gigabytes. Just like you wanted." I forced myself to move. It was a struggle just to get my feet on the floor. When I stood up, I nearly collapsed. I try to take a deep breath, but my lungs feel restricted, like there's something living inside. I am losing my mind, I think, staring down at the can. The stress is actually making me sick.

But the moment I tried to move, the pain escalated, overwhelming me. I collapsed back onto the mattress, the throbbing discomfort making it impossible to stay upright. My body felt powerless, and I lay there, trapped in a state of agony, unable to find any respite from the relentless, intense pressure. Frustration clawed at me, tightening my chest. And I just could not take it anymore. The ache was unbearable, coursing through my body like fire. I needed relief—anything to ease the tension that was driving me mad. With a shaky breath, I undid my pants and freed myself.

I felt like my head was going to explode, like it was a balloon being inflated to the bursting point. The pain was intense, a piercing, stabbing sensation that made my eyes water. I tried to breathe, but it felt like my airways were constricting, like I was suffocating under the weight of my own skull. I stumbled, my vision blurring, and my legs gave out beneath me.
