I ran as fast as I can to do my counter-attack. "You can't stop me!" Raven used his force to hit Damian on his head. Damian saw it coming so he manages to find a way to scratch Raven's neck the way he did to him. Raven stumbled and rolled on the ground and he winces in pain. His blood began to splatters on the ground and Damian ran once again to do his final attack to kill him but he saw Raven's face full of blood and his breathing slows down. He looks helpless. " I will let you live but don't ever cross our paths again and tell your father to stop this madness. He's only using you for himself because he's crazy in power!" Damian told me and I heard it all.

Damien smirked. Raven felt her heart beat fast, she genuinely was attracted to him, "No." she said sounding firm. Damien's hand went to her face and cupped her neck and his thumb was on her cheek, "Why?" Raven was taken aback with the way his voice was cajoling, "Damien what is it you want exactly?" "You." "Huh?" "I said I want you, Raven," Raven felt her pulse quickening at the way he said it, especially her name, she looked into his eyes and she started when she found him gazing at her and his gaze didn't shift.

CHAPTER 58 DAMIEN’S POV I couldn’t believe everything I had seen. Raven was a Moonsworn healer. Moonsworn healers were a rare wolf type. I never really stood a chance at leading the kingdom. Without Raven even growing amongst the strongest wolves, she had become one herself—the strongest, rarest and possible the fiercest wolf there is. I had to leave the room. I was angry she had the ability to heal Vera but wouldn’t do it. I wasn’t asking for too much. All I wanted was that my little sister got better. That was all I wanted.

A slow, eerie smile crept across his lips. "I cannot wait to watch you all burn." Damien cracked his knuckles, his eyes burning with unfiltered rage. "It’s time to kill this asshole," he said, his voice dark and unforgiving. He turned to Raven, his grip on Ryan’s collar tightening. "Do you want to do the honors together?" Raven tilted her head, considering. Then a slow, chilling smile spread across her lips. "I say instead of killing him, we make him suffer first. We make it last longer."

She said. Maddy's brow creased, but she nodded. “Call me Damian.” I said as Maddy turned to leave. “We look forward to working with you, Damian.” She smiled before disappearing. “Missing your little fuck already?” She shook her head. “That’s sad.” Sipping her drink, she drummed her fingers against the glass. “The mighty Damian Russo has been reduced to chasing a little girl.” She added, clicking her teeth. “That little girl happens to have a hold on me. One you’d never relate to.”

A flash of golden hair whipped me in the face and in a blink, my gun was gone. Raven! She stood before me, pointing the gun at Damian, breathing heavily. "If you think I'm going down without a fight," she yelled, "Think again you bastards!" "Ah shit," Damian grumbled, "You two are a pain in the rear."

I said weakly as I stared at their faces hoping for one of them to laugh but no one laughed. "It’s not a joke, Raven,I am sorry" Damien said quietly with his eyes on the floor. " I see ,so at what point did you decide to replace your fated mate?". He sighed before replying raising his eyes to look at me now. "I fell in love with your sister". " So what about me then?" I asked aloud. "Where do I fit in this plan?" Rhea crossed her arms and looked at me with venom in her eyes "Look Raven,i have been training to be Luna for some months now, so you don't fit in the plan” she said.

Declan ordered and they fell out, their knees groaning in pain. “But she is your mate…” “I am the only mate he recognizes!” I snapped. “One more word from you and I will be forced to make you join my little rodent friends. I was sure you do not want that. Now be a good boy and obey your Alpha.” Tim stood up with the rest of me. And lifted Raven who was bleeding from her chest. The metal he stuck her with was still buried deep inside her. I watched them take her away with pleasure, then threw my arms around his shoulder.

Victoria smiled softly, brushing a tear from Raven’s cheek with her thumb. “Then that’s what we’ll do. Together.” They sat among the relics of Raven’s family legacy for a long while — the Archdruid’s journals, the High Priest’s robes, the silver oak leaf that still carried protective magic from a mother’s love. Raven’s past and present had finally begun to weave together. She was no longer just Death’s Scion. She was the daughter of an Archdruid and a High Priest. She was the wife of a vampire princess.

DAMIAN “Damian…” Vivian breathed, her voice sounding in the way she couldn’t hide her emotions. “No one has ever done something like this for me.” She stepped closer, wrapping her arms around herself as if she didn’t quite know what to do at the moment. The breeze lifted her hair, brushing it across her face, and she brings it back slowly, her eyes never leaving mine. I couldn’t help it. The sight of herstanding there, stunning, glowing under moonlight made something inside me shift. Something I hadn’t felt in a long time.
