Coming here alone?” I smiled back, a cold smile devoid of any humor. “Who says I’m alone?” Henrique Crimson Sparrow looked confused, and looked around the space. Henrique followed my movements with his eyes. Then, the forest came to life.

“Don’t worry, pay it in. I’m raising a daughter you know.” Damien said. “Okay, and before I forget, I need you to look for someone for me. She goes by the name Jenna Marbles. She is involved in this case.” He dropped a picture of Jenna. Diablo wrote down the name then stared at it for a while. Jenna Marbles sounded familiar to him in some way. He didn’t know if it was the Marbles or the Jenna. He raised a brow. “I feel like I already know this person. Any other information you can leave?”

She looked startled too as her mouth was open and tears were still streaming down her face profusely. One and only Madison Connor, now a waitress and... "Honey, you're not saying anything. Damian stared at the ceiling in the darkness for a long while. Then his phone vibrated on the bedside table. His expression instantly sharpened. Careful not to wake Enola, Damian reached for the phone. One anonymous message. A photo attachment. Damian opened it. His eyes narrowed immediately. An old photograph. Alexander Cassel. A young woman standing beside him. And Clarisse. All smiling together. But his mother’s face had been violently scratched over with red ink. Damian sat up slowly. The three adults sat together against the curved wall, breathing heavily, bodies covered in cuts and bruises. Kael broke the silence first. “I almost lost control back there.
