'What does it sound like to you? I shake my head. 'I don't know. A place, perhaps. But I've never heard of anywhere called Silver Thorn.' Damien's thumb brushes carefully over the torn edge. 'Neither have I.' That surprises me. Damien seems to know everything about the world beyond the walls of Ashcroft Manor. He has lived long enough to remember things I have only ever read about in books. Yet even he doesn't recognize it. I look back at the diary. 'Then we need to find out.' I suggest, curious.

Made my face do what it always did. The bus stopped. I stepped off. Valour Thorne was standing just inside the gate. I had heard about him from Quill. Former private military. Seven years with Damien. The man who had stopped an attempt on Damien's life with thirty seconds and two words. He looked exactly like that description — dark brown skin, close-cropped hair greying at the temples, built like someone had designed him specifically for standing between danger and the thing worth protecting. His dark eyes took everything in and gave nothing back.

She wondered what he wanted. "Yes?" "Here I bought some sunscreen, you will have a severe sunburn at this rate," Damien replied. Raven nodded, "I see, thank you." Raven took the sunscreen and started to spread it all over, she saw Damien laugh. "What?" "Let me help you. You look like a snowman." Damien replied. He took the sunscreen bottle and squeezed some on his hands. He sat behind her, his legs on either side of her and he started applying it on her naked back.

Alex urged him to speak up and Damien finally decided to tell them what was wrong. "So…" he started slowly and Tobias patiently waited for him to continue, while Alex just kept on urging him to go on. "I just got the news that there is a fire on the east coast of this pack house." He spilled the whole beans about the news and he watched their faces, to gauge their reactions. Alex and Tobias just stood still, watching Damien . Damien was confused. He didn't know what their reactions meant, so he asked them if they heard him correctly. "Guys? I'm sure you heard me." Alex blinked at Damien , while Tobias just looked on.

And Damien Thorne was already moving his pieces. The next morning, Damien’s private jet touched down in London. He stepped off with his usual calm swagger, a cigarette hanging from his lips, and a smile that didn’t reach his eyes. His phone buzzed. A message from an unknown number lit the screen: “He’s ready to bite. The superstar is yours.” Damien smirked. “Good. Let the boy think he’s playing me. He’ll never see the strings.” As Damien slid into his car, he looked out the window at the city skyline. He exhaled a thin stream of smoke and whispered to himself:

The white light eats the last of the seal, and the door doesn’t open so much as surrender. Thorne steps through the dissolved frame into my violet glow, and for a moment the two of us light the dark room from opposite ends, my silver and his, the same color pitched a half-step apart, two flares of the same impossible chemistry agreeing on nothing but their wrongness. Damian is a fixed shadow between us, sidearm up, and I can see in the set of his shoulders that he has finally accepted what his instruments told him: the man in the white frame bleeds the same light his asset does.

Something else entirely. I should’ve brought a weapon. But I didn’t need one. I was the weapon now. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The garden was a graveyard of beauty. Thorn-ravaged roses bowed under the weight of the rain, their petals wilted like broken promises. My mother’s marble cherub fountain, once white and serene, had cracked down the middle, its waters overflowing, muddied. And there he stood. Damien. By the fountain, half-shadowed, soaking wet but unbothered. The man who once whispered loyalty and kissed me like I was the only truth he believed in.

But it was not and that meant the energy could operate without having a host. She frowned then she passed the energy to the demon “ give this energy to my father. I need to know what this energy is” The demon bowed and blended with the shadows After the demon left, Lucy went through the memories and she discovered that before his surgery due to an accident he had been really close to a particular friend and that friend was most likely the one that was possessed. Gordon Lock That was his name and he worked as a bouncer at a nightclub. ............. 2 DAYS LATER

He had absolutely no breath left, so instead of yelling out in agony, he continued running. Damien ran for another minute before he was forced to slow his pace. The adrenaline had begun to fade, and the pain in his side increased. Coughing up a large gout of blood from his lung, he stopped. Looking back, he made sure the humans weren't going to try and come after him. Listening carefully for any sounds of running footsteps or worse, engines starting up, he tried to look back, but the blood in his right eye still hadn't cleared. Satisfied that he had no pursuers, he shifted his direction and headed for the creek that was about a mile away.
