Ronan was standing nearby, watching me, his expression unreadable.
I turned to Kael, my voice steady. "He didn't lie. Every death you've been investigating, I was the killer. Kelvin, the representative from Israel that came for the nuclear weapon you wanted to talk about—I knew I couldn't let you have that power, so I killed him. It started from him. And it has continued and continued and continued. And it would have ended with your head. But somehow, this fool—" I turned to Ronan, waving the gun toward him, "—tried to ruin my plan. Tried to take my victory away from me."
I turned the gun back toward Kael. "But it hasn't ended. It will never end. Not until you leave this world by my hands."
