ZAIRE'S POV I was leaning back on the couch, smoking weed with Dayanara. I could hear moans coming from Reggie's room as he was getting it on with Daya's pink-haired friend, whose name I couldn't care less to remember. The fucked up part? This wasn't even the first time I'd met her. Not even the second. She had been around the first time Reggie introduced me to his cousin, and the many other times I had linked up with Daya.

Plus one vampire observer. The Battle of the Rookeries is about to begin.

One of a kind. "Apparently Luna has the capability to nullify the effect of any poison. That means he can’t be killed by poisoning. His body has an automatic defence system that will block the poison to enter the system. But it seems like the poison was fatal enough that it put Luna unconscious for two days. He is fine now. The anticipation in the room was tangible, and I could feel the weight of impending doom hanging over me. "What is this? What evil game are you planning to play?" I gasped, my breath heavy from screaming and exertion. David cast a cold glance at Dane, who instantly understood his silent command. With a flick of a switch, the board slowly began to rotate, my body pressed against it. Panic surged through me as the rotation gradually picked up speed, and I let out a piercing scream. “We’re playing a game called darts.” He said just as the first knife came flying at me.
