The thought of everyone dying because of me was troubling, but I was so proud to have this revolution taking place. This was what I wanted; I wanted to fight to end slavery. I wanted to release these slaves from their chains and set them free. Now they were free, and they could choose to do whatever they wanted. What they wanted was to fight; they had a taste of freedom and now they wanted to fight to continue that feeling.
