he roared, his voice echoing through the room. Arnou quickly pushed Lillian away, his face flushed with guilt. "Daniel...it's not what it looks like," he stammered, his voice laced with regret. Daniel's anger was palpable as he marched towards Arnou. "You're doing a damn poor job as an Alpha!" he spat, his voice filled with venom. "Your mate is suffering, and here you are, kissing your ex-fiancée." Arnou winced at Daniel's words, realizing the truth in his harsh criticism. He had been neglecting Daciana, his true mate, consumed by the chaos of his position. The guilt washed over him, threatening to drown him in a torrent of remorse.
