he says quietly as he gets up to leave, giving me a small kiss as he does so. "Who told you my name's Danielle?" I ask in a hushed whisper, I'm still freaked out about whatever sorcery happened tonight. "Uh..there's not much to figure out, you're a girl so..Danny's short for Danielle. Jonathan is one lucky man. He better treat you right.” I laughed. “Or you will go all scary dad on him?” I asked, looking over at Jonathan who was giving me a strange look. Danny shrugged. “Maybe. I didn’t get to scare away your high school boyfriends, so I have time to make up for.”

I was trying to forget about that night, I didn't want to tell him and break down again, after I just finished pulling myself together.
