I whirl around to glare at him, but he just leans casually against a nearby tombstone, smirking. “Something like that,” I mutter, turning back to the grave. “She and her little crew said I looked like crap, so I told her she didn’t exactly look impressive either.” There’s a loud, theatrical hoot behind me. “Well, well!” Valentine exclaims, clapping his hands. “North finally grows a spine! Shame it’s made of Styrofoam.” I snap my head around. “Excuse me?” “Come on,” he says, grinning. “That’s the best you could come up with? ‘You don’t look impressive’? She’s probably crying herself to sleep right now.”

“Harry, why are you hitting a little girl? If people find out, it won’t make us look good. Why don’t we make a bet for five hundred thousand?” Harry seemed interested. “Sounds fun. What’s the bet?” The man smiled meaningfully and replied, “It’s Valentine’s Day. Let’s see if she can sell 200 roses at the night market.” Everyone laughed in response. “Someone who can’t even talk selling flowers? Are you serious?” “Come on, man. You’re not planning on letting her go, are you?” I thought that I would be rescued, but I ended up in a worse situation instead. When Harry saw how hopeless I looked, he quickly agreed to the bet.

He stood to leave and I also turned to send a signal to Analisse, but she was nowhere to be found. I watched her clasp her hands together and I couldn’t help but feel hurt that she couldn’t even talk to me comfortably. It looks as if she’s being forced to talk to me and I didn’t like it. “Okay… firstly, do you recall our sex on the night of your coronation?” Valerie suddenly asked and my mouth immediately tasted like ash. Just where the hell is this conversation going? The tension in the room suddenly changed but seeing the worried look on her face, I couldn’t pull off getting straight to the point.

That was why I was surprised when Valerie came into the room I was dusting and told me I had a date in five minutes. “What room is it in?” I asked her. What I was really asking was who the date was with. When Valerie told me it was the room I usually met Dante, I could have leapt up and kissed her. But I controlled my reaction and studied Valerie as inconspicuously as I could. She was smiling, but I could tell that she still wasn’t sleeping well and she had lost weight. Valerie was already a tiny person, so she was starting to look sick from not eating.

His eyes flash a feral red for only a split second before disbelief twists his handsome features, staring into my eyes, unblinking, as I whisper, "Dylan?" I stand right before him now. The person he’d called was one of his workers and absolutely the only one he could trust with getting information and keeping tabs on Valerie, he could trust him with the investigations and other things.

She can see Leftenan Jack had waited for her at the door bringing a basket they she believe fill with the dumplings and the dough . " Quick , I think they are doing something that is shouldn't know ." Jack said to Valerie who walks towards him . Together , they walk out from the apartment and walking towards the elevator . Then they see , Captain Danny's children waiting for the elevator . " Yaya , why are you here with your brothers ." Valerie ask Danny's eldest daughter softly and gently . " Daddy and mommy had works to do , so daddy gave me money to bring my siblings to aunt Olivia's shop then sit there for an hour . Daddy will come to get us after an hour ." Yaya said gently to Valerie .
