She didn’t want to think about what he was, but Emma wanted to walk into dreams and control magic. Emma had seen village elders use magic but had none of her own. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the water, and they were laughing and talking as if they had known each other for years. Dante felt a sense of peace wash over him as he dreamed of Anna. He knew that he was on the right path now, and that pursuing her was the only way to find true happiness.
