After half an hour, I finally arrived at the mall, ready for some shopping. Stepping out of the car, I gazed at the magnificent entrance. Perhaps, once Sierra became Luna, I would bring her here and let her choose whatever her heart desired. Just as I was about to enter the mall, I froze upon hearing a familiar voice—a voice I had hoped never to hear again. "Hey, Dean, old friend, it's been a while." I turned around and came face to face with Drake. He hadn't changed a bit. His dark blue eyes and gray hair intrigued me, as I wondered about his fondness for that color.

“Please come to my cabin,” Dinesh mentioned as Anushka looked up from her phone. She was reading another one of the books online. She loved romance books and would prefer them any day over her textbooks. She walked to his cabin, straightening the white t-shirt and pants she was wearing today. It was the least bit professional, but she did wear a sweater over it, so it was fine. As usual, knocking on the door twice, she walked inside as he gestured to her to sit, “How many countries do we deal with?” He asked all of a sudden.

Rage sure had many ways of impressing people. "I am Drey. Meet my twin brother, Danny," he introduced himself, extending his hand for a shake. "Nice meeting you two. I'm Liam Blackwood," Liam said, shaking hands with them. However, he noticed Danny seemed to hold a grudge against him. "Sorry for the earlier aggression, no hard feelings, bro," he apologized calmly and gave him a quick hug. "Sure, no hard feelings," Danny replied and smiled at Liam for the very first time. "Are you the popular pop star?" Drey asked sarcastically, chuckling slightly.

She was really hurt and shattered. "So Diane did it in a short time?" Xander chipped in with a deep grunt, taking heavy steps forward. His face was extremely stern and both eyes blazed with rage. I could clearly see his veins running through his neck and arms as every muscle seemed to poke out through his school uniform. "Will you kill him? Will you also kill Hutton as a demon?" Kayla sharply asked while flicking her eyes at me with fear and sadness.

I forgot about the Henny situation. "Henny is my childhood nickname. It pisses me off to hear it so Bobbie decided to use it all the time," Henry responds and gives him the same up and down look. Henry is taller and thicker, Dash looks incredibly sharp next to him, especially fresh out of camp, "You’re Dash, right? Dash Santos. I've heard all about you." "Yeah," Dash says, his frown still evident. He doesn't like this, "Well, I haven't heard shit about you except you're the best friend she lives with, Henny.”

Dash says, and I am taken aback by his answer. “Grace, I need you to understand I am not the guy you think I am, I am a lot more than the guy that owns some companies, owns famous clubs, and lives his life partying, I do more than that, I do stuff that would make your skin curl, but I don’t hurt women,” He says and then stops, “Innocent women and I sure as fuck will never hurt you, I will keep you safe from everything and everyone,” Dash adds.

Danny was quiet for some time, deep in thought. “That fucking bastard.” He muttered the frustration clear on his face. “Tell me about it.” I mumbled too. “But don’t worry. I think I have a plan on how to save Xavier.” I said smiling at the idea. Danny frowned, his brows furrowing “You think you have a plan, or you know you have an actual plan that would work?” he asked making me grit my teeth. He knew how to be an asshole if he wanted to. “I do have a plan, but you’re going to have to trust me man. Do you think you can do that?”

It seems the kid had learned some caution, at least. “Boss?” Danny’s voice was young, and uncertain. “You wanted to see me?” I turned slowly, letting him sweat for a moment. He was twenty, maybe twenty-one. Scrawny. And very nervous. This was the kid who’d let Rylan escape a week ago. “Come here,” I said. Danny approached like he was walking to the gallows. His hands were shaking. I let the silence stretch, watching him squirm. Then I smiled. “Good work.”

Ash said, "Don't cling to him like that. Give him some space to calm down!" It was only then that Danny realized we weren't alone in the living room, and his face turned red. Danny awkwardly leaned his head on Ash's shoulder, avoiding looking at us. In my mind, the image of Danny struggling at the hotel entrance, bewildered and unsure of what to do, emerged again. And then the scene of Danny crying in agony over a long-term relationship betrayed, the pain he endured was unimaginable.

She just tilted her chin and said to Farrah, “Dr. Lee, the sharp-shooter of the team, Patrick.” “Patrick, this is Dr. Lee. She’ll be a temporary member of our group in our incoming mission. She’s a Level-3 Healer.” The stinky face of the man finally eased. He put down the dumbbell on his other hand and extended it to Farrah. “Nice to meet you, Dr. Lee. Happy cooperation.” Said Patrick, followed by a hearty wink. Farrah awkwardly smiled back, couldn’t get used to the fast reversal of the man’s expressions. “Happy cooperation.”
