Her eyes, ice blue and calculating, sweep over me with open disdain. "Tiara," Tyler growls. The softness is gone. The killer is back. "Don't look so happy to see me, Tyler," Tiara drawls, her heels clicking against the marble as she reaches the bottom of the stairs. She's flanked by three others. The one on her left is massive—easily as big as Tyler, with a shaved head and a cruel scar running down the side of his neck. His eyes are dead. Enforcer eyes. Killer eyes.

Another voice echoed and I turned around to see it was the other half brother Damien. “You're right, what punishment should we give you?” Xavier smiled menacely “ But if you apologize on your knees, we might give you a chance to….” BAM! My fist connected with Xavier's jaw, snapping his head sideways. The impact was so strong that it sent him crashing into the wall. Everything happened so fast that Xavier didn't have the time to react. I turned and noticed Damien staring at me, eye wide. “You fucking bastard! I will fucking kill you.” Xavier roared with blood dripping from his mouth.

Hunter removed the earpiece and stared at the screen with apprehension. Lines of worry creased his forehead because he had a hunch about the storm that was on the horizon. The iciness in Dylan’s voice could even freeze hell. And that only happens when he is in ultra-angry mode. Xander’s mention would have definitely charred him to his bone. And as expected the beast was on his way gushing past the cars while driving like a lunatic to punish the perpetrator.

I watched Xander, not knowing what he was going to do next, as the car drove away with me in it. Xander's POV I was enraged, I was angry, my cousin, my very own cousin, betrayed me this way. I thought he was the only man I could trust, but he unforgivably hurt me and I can not let that go unpunished. ''He has to pay''. But I looked into his eyes hoping that this was all a mistake. Maybe he was sorry, but I was taken aback. When he showed no remorse at all. '' Do it, Xander, kill me because if you don't, you will regret it,'' Xavier let out and I punched him to the floor, getting ready to shoot, but my father stopped me.

Xavier growled, striding toward him and delivering a hard punch to Dante’s chest. Dante doubled over, clutching his ribs. "Shit, man! That fucking hurt!" he wheezed, glaring at Xavier. Xavier rolled up his sleeves, his expression dark. "The next time you do that, I’ll cut off your balls. Hell, I might even castrate you for good measure. And you know damn well I can." Dante straightened up, rubbing his chest. "Noted. No barging in." Xavier snorted, grabbing two glasses and pouring whiskey into both. He handed one to Dante, and they clinked glasses before downing the amber liquid. The burn seared their throats, eliciting a mutual hiss of satisfaction.

At the sound of the gunshot, Xavier broke into a run. He hadn't known what he would find when he arrived at Old Faithful, but he knew one thing - if Penny was hurt in any way, he wouldn't rest until he'd had his revenge. Until he'd made Nash and every one of his men pay for what they'd done.

Seeing that Xavier indeed pardoned the man, one of the men kneeling decided to also play his lucky card and started, “Boss, please spare me…” He hadn't finished what he wanted to say when a gunshot rang out. He turned to find the man who had been untied lying on the floor with a bullet in his forehead. He turned to find Xavier looking at him with a flat face, holding his Glock that had wisps of smoke coming out of the muzzle. If Xavier still killed the man who had pleaded with him to spare him, then he didn't want to imagine the fate that awaits them.’ He thought as his gaze dropped to the floor, feeling hopeless. What even possessed him to mess with the devil?

"Daddy will keep you safe." As he started to say the magic words that would take her to safety, an arrow flew past his ear and struck the wall behind him. He had hardly any time to react when another arrow hit him right in the chest. The sharp pain shot through his body like a lightning bolt, making him stagger backward. Draven felt blood oozing from the wound. He fell to his knees but refused to give up. With every bit of strength he had left in him, he kept saying the spell, even though his voice was getting weaker with each word he spoke.

He shifted into a fighting stance, claws extended, golden eyes shining, and chest heaving. The man chuckled, low and dark. “Haha. Don’t tell me you are actually trying to fight me now, an officer of the law? You want to go to real jail, boy? You want to make this worse for yourself?” “I don’t give a rat’s ass who you are,” Xavier shouted, flexing his muscles, voice raw with pain and fury. “You don’t look like a cop to me! You look like a bloody drug dealer who’s in the wrong fucking place!”
