Sitting up in the strange bed and taking in my surroundings. I must have had that dream again. They were getting pretty frequent now. They never made any sense. The person leaving me was a blur. I had no idea who or where it was. People told me it was just a dream but it was always the same.

He must even know where my mother is right now. I would face him immediately and demand to know her whereabouts. Nothing else mattered. I didn't bother putting the contents back inside the case. I got a hold of the staff, but as my hands grazed the strange objects surrounding it, something resembling live electricity passed though my finger tips and raced into my veins as warmth infused my entire being. It moved from my fingers and swept to other parts of my body, making me sweat profusely. I got up and made to walk to the door, but dark spots began to dance in front of my eyes and I felt terribly weak and dizzy.

He laid her on her back while I pulled a chair from the hallway and took a seat next to her. I thought back to my most recent dream and wondered suddenly if Spencer could help me figure out what happened with the faces. “Spencer?” He stopped by the door and faced me. “I think I saw Derek's mom die.” “You saw Derek's mom die? Isn't he already an orphan?” I nodded. “It was strange, though, because the first time I dreamed it, their faces were all fuzzy and stuff. But, when I saw a picture of her, the faces cleared up and I was able to see them.”

I couldn't feel her anymore and that scared me more than anything. "What just happened!!!" Neil demanded and I stared up at Sally in horror. "They beat her. They almost raped her! I can't feel her!! IS SHE DEAD?!!" I frantically ran toward Sally. She shook her head as tears poured down her face. "I... I don't know. Maybe she passed out?" she offered with anguish on her face. We all froze for a moment. "If she's passed out, can you do the dream spell?" Vic asked and Sally nodded slowly at first but then stronger.

He glimpsed at his bare chest only to find large buries forming on his chest. Darach didn't know what kind of dark magic was this, it appears like Darach shares Amber's injuries. . . The echo of his harsh breaths was the only sound in the room. The little girl in the nightmare was his mate. Darach can't be mistaken in recognizing those soul burning eyes. The little girl he had seen was Amber just like in his previous nightmares. Darach can't sleep, his nightmares won't let him. Yesterday he had dreamed about Amber. She had stepped away from a lifeless Beaded Vulture with blood dripping from her fingertips.
