Unknown As Flameheart stood in the dimly lit room, shadows flickered ominously against the walls, swirling like dark tendrils. Outside, dark clouds began to gather, casting a heavy gloom over Sunshine City. The air crackled with an unsettling energy, and one by one, the people around him fell into a deep slumber, the weight of the impending storm claiming them as its own. Only Flameheart remained awake, his heart racing, sensing that something momentous was about to unfold.

Aurora’s P.O.V The air was thick with the scent of iron, the weight of the moment pressing down on me like an unseen force. I watched, my body frozen in place, as Harmona reached for a lever on the wall, her fingers wrapping around it with the kind of reverence one would give a sacred relic. My breath hitched when she pulled it down, and the ceiling groaned in response, parting to let in the ominous glow of the sun. But it wasn't the warm, golden light of hope—it was fractured, darkened by the shadow of the Solar Eclipse. The world outside had fallen into an eerie twilight, casting elongated shadows that danced across the stone floor like ghosts mourning their inevitable fate.

"I'll ask you one last time. Why did you betray us?" The man on the throne-like chair leaned forward and folded his hands as he looked at his prey in the eye. His forest green eyes were barely devoid of any emotion. His chestnut brown hair was disheveled and his dark blue tie lay loosened around his neck. Even if he did not show any emotion, a dark and dangerous air filled the room, forcing everyone to suck in a deep breath. The beast was about to unleash its wrath and they could only pray to stay alive at the end of the day and watch the sunrise again.

Darkness increased his pace, wanting to get it done before his work piled up. He got the cold forest, her scent filled the whole place, Darkness raised a brow, the barrier allowed no one in or out of the cold moon valley except him, how did she end up there? He could smell the human too, but the human scent was faint, almost like he was no more. Darkness assed his surrounding. He could hear screams that sounded like hell itself, and the sound the demons made.

The Darkness called out from its blockade beyond the hills where I sat south. I clenched my fists, digging my nails into my palms. The Darkness's voice echoed a constant, insidious whisper in my mind. It promised relief, an end to the torment. But I knew better. I had seen the horrors it could unleash, the twisted, broken souls it left in its wake. I had to ignore the Darkness for another twelve hours before the ritual was over as that was how long the first one was, and the Darkness had lost. I had to do this for my twins and to ruin some version of the Cult's plan to kill them and change the realm.

Sometimes Morana was afraid of what she could do, or what she couldn't stop. Even though Morana's life was full of hatred and regret, the face of death was still terrifying. Time passed, and slowly the noise around Morana became only the faint background sound behind her fading consciousness.
