Suddenly, a series of loud knocks slammed against the greenhouse door, sharp and abrupt, making Ron yelp and jolt back. The ladle clattered against the edge of the cauldron and the images vanished with a hiss, melting back into a bland swirl of violet mist. Ron groaned, shoulders slumping. Now he had to perform the spell all over again. Just who was it that was ruining his progress? He nearly found out where the Dark Lord was kept when he was a baby.

The vortex grew larger and eventually consumed the web. Hadirt clenched his jaw when he saw that. He dashed out of the black sphere, turning to flee without a second thought. "Come back here!" ordered the Dark Lord. The Dark Lord extended his right hand, and a powerful force instantly pulled Hadirt back. Hadirt was then consumed by the black vortex as it absorbed the dark energy from his body continuously. Hadirt was turned into a dried corpse in front of the Dark Lord and then turned to dust in the end.
