Novel & Cerita Dark Places

The darkness felt like it lasted for a week, and when Amber opened her eyes, it was so dark at first that she couldn’t tell if she had her eyes opened or closed. Amber knew she wasn’t inside the truck anymore. She could feel cold, wet steel beneath her body. Amber also noticed that she was naked, and that something was clawing at the bottom of her right foot.

Black as the darkest night hair against a crisp linen pillow, brown skin against a blindingly white sheet, and tiger’s eyes burning with deliberate cruelty and triumph into hers. In horrified rejection of the imagery that had sprung into her mind, Lara Anderson shuddered violently, dimly aware that she was still in the grip of severe shock. Abruptly, she was dredged from her turmoil by the insistent shrill of the telephone in the hall. Reluctantly she answered the summons, carefully shutting the lounge door behind her so that her father was not disturbed.

I don't know how many times he drew orgasms from me because it made me so exhausted that I was slumping in and out of the darkness. He hauled my body up as his rock hard body slammed against my back with the roughness. I gave up when he emptied himself inside me with the curse and pulled out, letting me fall on the bed like a lifeless doll. I thought it was over from tonight but he turned me around and hovered over me. My tired eyes fluttered open but it's hard to see him in the dark. He always comes in the darkness. My nightmare, Rafael Delgado!

Taking a deep breath, Draven stepped inside, the oppressive darkness swallowing him whole. The inside of Thana’s lair was a twisted labyrinth of tunnels and chambers, each one more disorienting than the last. The walls seemed to shift and move, leading those who ventured too far into endless loops of despair. But Draven knew the way—had memorized every turn, every hidden passage. He walked with purpose, his steps unfaltering as he descended deeper into the abyss.

Then the center caved in—slowly, monstrously—and the world below revealed its teeth. Hell. The sinkhole wasn’t just a tear in the earth; it was a wound that bled fire. The air turned to ash, the scent of sulfur crawling up the stone walls. And from the depths—black shapes writhed. Hundreds of them. Maybe thousands. Crawling over each other in a grotesque tide of claws, wings, and eyes that gleamed with feral light. Maldric’s army. They had been waiting beneath us all this time. Waiting for the world to fall open.

"Shadows of the deep, drink from my veins. Erebus, Lord of the Unseen, I tear the veil between us. Grant me the dark that consumes the light." A violent, invisible pressure slammed into my chest, knocking the breath from my lungs. The floor beneath me didn't just break; it vanished. When my eyes snapped open, the stone walls and the smell of sulfur were gone. I was standing in a graveyard of stars. It was a realm of infinite, suffocating black, where the ground felt like solidified smoke beneath my boots.

A young man with a dirty bandage all over his face, people missing limbs, open cuts, pale skin, rotten, dark, and empty eyes, while others only had dark endless pits where the eyes once used to be. After what felt like an eternity, I could finally let my feet give in and slide down to a sitting position on the cold ground. This side was lighter; the cold and straight-out horrific feeling from the dark tunnel we had just passed was gone. But even if the other side here is much brighter, the feeling was the same. Cold, distanced but simultaneously incredibly heavy and suffocating, leading me to believe this was not the shiny hope I assumed it to be. “Come on, girly, we had our 5 minutes, and w

Chapter 50: The Gobi Ghost The Gobi Desert was not just a desert; it was a landscape of frozen dunes and howling, mournful winds that sounded like the collective, tortured screams of everyone the Dividend had ever broken, experimented on, or discarded. It was a vast, unforgiving graveyard of salt and silicon. Deep beneath those shifting sands lay a relic of the Cold War—an abandoned Soviet research bunker that Julian had repurposed into a digital tomb, a womb for his own dark rebirth.

** Into the Depths** The heavy wooden trapdoor groaned as Adam lifted it, revealing a set of worn, narrow steps that descended into the darkness below. A damp, earthy smell wafted up from the tunnel, and Claire’s heart raced at the thought of what lay beneath them. The air down there felt thick and stale, like the breath of something long forgotten. Ethan peered over Adam’s shoulder, his brow furrowed. “This tunnel… you said it hasn’t been used in years. How can we be sure it’s safe?”

In the school, when Lauren and Daphne were still chatting excitedly, a handful of mud fell from the sky and landed on the two of them. "AHH!"
