From Pastel Shades to Red

From Pastel Shades to Red

She greeted the girl with a hug and approached Harmony, who contrasted with her friend in everything, starting with her very dark hair, which was loose and styled in waves, going through her makeup, with the biggest highlight being the red lipstick, and ending with her outfit, completing the pin-up style look: a strapless white dress with black polka dots and a flared skirt, with a yellow patent leather belt cinching her waist, and a pair of peep-toe shoes with all three colors on her feet. If Kitty and Kath had lived with male tyranny from an early age and, for that reason, had ended up finding each other when assuming dominant positions in their relationships, Harmony, on the other hand, h

THE BEAST'S OBSESSION

THE BEAST'S OBSESSION

Ajay is right on one thing, these men are shameless disrespectful sex maniacs! Averting my gaze from the emotional torture brought about by that scenery, I ricochet my distress around the corners of this black-painted hall. Black-representing the dark sins taking place here. The evil roaming in this whole place. No other colour would have fitted these walls better. The red lanterns on the walls are doing enough justice in illuminating the black-painted hall. Good combination - red and black. Evil and danger. Cold and deep.

The Billionaire's Regret: Getting My Wife Back

The Billionaire's Regret: Getting My Wife Back

“I believe we need a darker colour. Ruby Red seems flashy. Don't you think?” I opened my mouth to tell him exactly why I chose the colour, but Dashiell beat me to it. “Not if we balance it correctly. We can use Ruby red for accents, like table runners, flower arrangements, or even a signature cocktail. That way, it enhances the overall aesthetic without overwhelming it. We can make it work if we approach it maturely, like Nova pointed out."

A Deal With The Billionaire CEO

I had taken the initiative to call her by her name. She smiled at me and sat upright. "Good to see you too Isabella," she replied to me. Jackson was whispering some irrelevant things to me and I looked at him with disgust. “Sorry?” I ignored him and I opened the file on the table, I pointed out the third design. It was a combination of green and black with hints of purple. “I like this, it’s not red and black for a change and it gives out the villain aesthetic still,” I explained as I pointed at the designs at the side. "Red and black has become too cliche, it is the best but it is cliche," I said to her.

The Mistress

The Mistress

Dan had described to his mistress. I opened my makeup drawer and bypassed the muted roses and the soft corals he preferred. I reached for a heavy, square tube I had bought in secret, hidden beneath the velvet lining of my jewelry box. I uncapped it, revealing a shade so deep and visceral it looked like an open wound. Blood Red. I applied it with surgical precision. The pigment was thick, matte, and unapologetic. It didn’t soften my features; it sharpened them into a blade. It turned my mouth into a weapon. This wasn’t makeup; it was war paint.

Dark Rose

Dark Rose

A figure jerked up from the bed, she sat up and sighed tiredly. ‘I’m tired of this nightmare, I can’t even see their faces’ she muttered digging her hands into her natural ash hair, she stared at the direction of the window. ‘It still dark’. ‘I just need more sleeping pills and I’ll be fine; she said to herself standing up from her bed, she then walked to where the switch was and switched on the lights, the lights from the chandelier illuminated the room. It was a room painted with royal blue with gold stars on her wall; her bed was wide enough for six people to sleep in, in short the room screamed luxury. At a corner in her room there was two shelves filled with books and a table with a cha

The Alpha's Rejected Mate is the True Heiress

The Alpha's Rejected Mate is the True Heiress

“We could do something about all these dark colours.” I inspected my nails. “I like dark colours.” ‘This guy!’ cried my wolf, Nadini. ‘Comes in here, uninvited, and starts laying into the colours! Black and red are sooooo in right now. Actually, wait, no, screw that. They’re always in. They’re timeless. They’re classics.’ ‘I’m with you, sister.’ Dad made a non-committal noise and changed the subject. “I must confess that I’m a little bit confused, angel.”

The Lycan King's Hot Sin

The Lycan King's Hot Sin

They are blinded by emotions that I had successfully kept away from me. If humans were made from a color. Maybe wine which was a darker shade of red itself, then I was made from an even darker shade and the darkness that I had embraced for years had now become a part of me that would never fade. I was dark… I was Black… in fact. “You seem as pale as a half-dead to me, Ama. I can't even see that dark shade of red and shouldn't that be noticeable since you claim to be so dark-”

she continued hurriedly to cover up her fluster. “Black?” He fought his grin, delight fizzing through him. He wasn’t the only one randy as all hell, he thought, and considering that she had spent the night with the vampire, he was rather to inclined to think that it was because on some basic, instinctual level, her body recognized him as one of her mates. “It might fit our aesthetic, but it doesn’t resell well,” he teased. “Dark grey with black and white details, I’m thinking,” she told him crisply, pretending to return her attention to the paint, but flicking him a look from under her eyelashes. “How long have you been sulking in the shelves for?” She added with mild accusation.

If you're looking for a story about an incel that gets their just desserts, this is the book for you! I haven't read a book in this series yet that doesn't deliver an emotional punch in the worst and best ways.
Dawn
That’s the end of the 4th book in the series. Can’t wait for the next book “the rebels”. This has been a fantastic series & though the book spends a lot of time going back & forth into the past & present it allows for those who have not read the whole series so far to keep up. Well done Everleigh xx

Mated to Four

Mated to Four

Phoebe I had never set foot in Dark Crimson before, and the moment our car passed through its front gates, my whole body tensed. The pack house rose like a dark fortress—nothing like the elegant Silver Claw manor or the clean-lined designs of Thunder Bite. This place felt ancient, heavy… dominant. The building looked as if it had been carved from one giant block of obsidian, with deep red accents running along each pillar like dried blood. The Dark Crimson banner fluttered against the gray sky—black and red, marked by a crowned Lycan sigil.
