"You think you’re a hero?" Daryl snarls, his teeth bared in a snarl that reveals more wolf than man. He shoves Glenn back, a move of pure, concentrated kinetic force. "You’re a puppet, Ashwalker. And when the elders are done with their theater, they’ll cut your strings just like they’ll cut the girl’s throat." Glenn says nothing. He doesn't need to. " The twins asked me to bring their favorite aunt this fruit salad and their cousin baked biscuits for you" he answered to me surprised face. "thank you " I say and faked cough. He smirked and turned to leave,he suddenly turns to me , "Don't hurt him okay. Don't hurt my brother " he says in a serious tone now. "What... Derrick and I are fine?Wh...why do you say that " I say in a nervous tone. " You know I'm not talking about Derrick" he says now smirking, does he ever stop smirking.

I put my phone back on the table and continued with my evening routine. Seven in the evening rolled around, and the familiar rumble of a car engine echoed through the house.
