She glanced at the gold dusts on Irene’s desk and sat gracefully across her. “Tell me, who snuffed out our little sun’s warmth?” Irene’s eye began to water again and she blew her nose on a tissue. Alodia cringed. “I found my mate,” she muttered. “But he has someone else,” Irene added. “Am I really Selene’s daughter, Aunt Lo?” she stared at Alodia. “Oh, love,” Alodia went to her niece and hugged her. “Of course, you are the moon’s daughter, child. How else will you explain these gifts you have? And the moon shines brighter each year on your birthday. You even have her hair,” Alodia stared at her.

I spent a while talking to her while she told me about her problems, but she also made an observation to me. “I can sense that something is tormenting her, I don't know what she might be going through. I have worked in the kingdom, I can stand how difficult it must be to live under so many rules, women are always subject to the demands of their husbands, but you... she said and smiled. "You are the daughter of King Henry, one of the most powerful, no one can hurt you." I appreciated her words, I don't know why, but talking to that woman changed something inside me, and something occurred to me.

What they thought was a blessing and grace from Selene became a never-ending wonder to the people of Etholia. "Your Majesty and to the citizens of Etholia. It is I, the Mother of all shapeshifters, the one who resides and gazed upon you with the light of the moon, your Moon Goddess Selene. From the moment I created my children, I have loved you with all my heart. As your loving mother, I have given every one of you a mate to be with you for the rest of your lives. But as I watched from my kingdom, I am greatly saddened that most of you have rejected what I have given. So I have decided not to pair the children who will be born from today onwards to someone else and in return give them the ab

all the hatred was justified but the way her soul was getting corrupted day by day, the one that the woman was torturing the most was herself. Just like her mother Luna Astra and Alpha Damien, Persephone believed in the moon goddess, her strength when she was going through the evil traumas, the same bestowed upon her by the deity she worshipped. She can't know that the belief which made her live was based on a lie. She would shatter and he won't let that happen. She wouldn't know....ever. She wouldn't know her mother gave her up and her father ....her father tried to kill her. The same father whom Hades massacred the day he was released from the curse. *******************************

“So Phoenix, weakened me? That is why it took me so long to break from it then? And that’s why the others couldn’t wake up by themselves too?” The blinding white smile of hers reappeared. “You’re getting it. Yes, in all honesty, you should never have woken, it should have taken much longer than four years. That’s why Mrs Velt was so interested in you. She was shocked that someone with that gift she has been researching for so many years was so close. Daughter of an I.L. agent. Someone that we all fought with back in the days.” “What, my dad?” “Yes. He was one of the best.”

"It will take you to his home. I'm sure Channing won't mind staying with you until he is returned to you." She then pushed us through the gate, and we were in a garden. "It will be fine." I told them, but I'm sure my face and scent weren't agreeing with my words. Hell I didn't even believe my words. There were so many stories about Hades temper. Including a story where he had kidnapped Persephone forcing her to be his wife. There were so many it was hard to know which was truth and which was not. I didn't even dare to take Persephone by her word.

His expression remained unreadable, though something flickered in his gaze, something Penelope couldn’t place. “Persephone,” he greeted coolly, his deep voice resonating in the cavernous room like a distant thunderclap. Demeter stepped forward, her smile a serene mask as she inclined her head. “Hades, may I present my daughter, Persephone.” Hades’ eyes briefly moved to Demeter, his gaze sharp and calculating. Then, they returned to Penelope, lingering with unnerving focus. For a moment, his expression didn’t shift, but behind that calm mask, his mind churned. This is not Persephone. As the god of death, he had an innate ability to see souls, and the one before him wasn’t Persephone’s. It was

Avo states proudly, and I can sense the story of the lake coming up as he continues. “They say that before the lake, there was just a meadow abound in flowers, surrounded by cliff on one side and forest on the other. As per legend, this was the place where the God of the underworld, Hades, abducted Persephone, the daughter of Demeter goddess of the harvest, while she was gathering flowers in the meadow. Grief-stricken Demeter, threatened Zeus with an everlasting famine if she was not united with her daughter. And so, Zeus ordered Hades to release Persephone, of course, which was followed by more drama. But in the end, it was decided that Persephone would spend six months in the underworld an

A woman who was even linked to nature herself. Hades could not recollect when exactly he had seen her, or where, but he remembered being mesmerized by her beauty and going to Olympus, after a millenium, to ask Zeus for his daughters hand. Hera who was seated, beautifully, as ever, by her husband's side perked up on her seat. "Persephone? Demeter's daughter?" Every god and goddess knew Hera's ever growing hatred for children fathered out of their marriage and Hades knew that they

What more did she want from me? My father, Brian Larson, sat by the side of the bed and sighed. "We spoiled her too much. I knew we shouldn't have kept her from the beginning. The fortune teller said that only Summer would bring us luck and that Sienna would only cause us misfortunes. If we had abandoned or killed her when she was born, things would've been much easier. My father's expression was so murderous that I truly believed that if I were there next to him, he would have choked me to death.
