Carlos After Warren undergoes a thorough medical examination and tests at the doctor's, we return to the mansion. He sits beside me in the car, choosing the backseat and appearing visibly drained and fatigued. Attempting to break the tension, I remark, "It's been a long night, hasn't it?" Warren's gaze shifts towards me, a look of inquiry clouding his features. With a furrowed brow, he voices his concerns, questioning me directly, "Carlos, did you kill the kid?"

I won’t say anything about it again.” He reached into his cloak. “Warren was hiding amongst the wolves of Silver Moon pack.” My blood went cold. “Did you get him?” I asked urgently. Warren confronted Ryle, challenging him to admit his sins and apologize. "Do you have anything to say now, Ryle Vanderberg? Are you finally ready to admit your sins and apologize? It’s not that it will change anything, but don’t you think me and Denver still deserve to hear it from you, huh?" Warren demanded, waiting for Ryle's response. But instead of showing remorse for his actions, Ryle responded with a laugh. This infuriated Warren, prompting him to throw Ryle to the ground while I questioned if Ryle had lost his mind. Denver, eager to join the confrontation, was stopped by Warren.

This room was capable of giving someone nightmares, it was traumatizing. Warren was bound to a metal chair in the center of the room. His face was swollen, covered in blood, one of his eyes was so swollen that it could barely open up. Warren groaned softly, his head hanging low as blood dripped from his mouth onto his torn shirt, his breaths were shallow. Lorenzo stood in front of him, his expression was unreadable but his eyes were filled with coldness. “You picked the wrong family to cross Warren. You really thought you could take her and just… leave?” Lorenzo's voice was low

“You’ve started a trend.” “I inspire chaos wherever I go.” “You say that like it’s noble.” “It’s efficient.” He laughed, the sound rough but warm. “You really believe Kael and Mara will find Dren?” “They’ll find something,” I said. “Even if it’s just more trouble.” “They’re talented that way.” Afternoon brought a rare lull. For once, there were no crises to chase. Warren sat at the table with a pot of tea that smelled faintly burnt. “I made it myself,” he said proudly.
