My nemesis turns out to be my mate

My nemesis turns out to be my mate

The door to my room swung open, and Winter entered, wrapping his arms around me from behind. I could feel drain taking him from me little by little as he gets himself so addicted to it, it wouldn't be long before his demise, I felt a surge of bitterness; I knew I would ultimately have to kill my mate as well.

Jericho

Jericho

I slumped in the chair and stalked the movement of his hands with my half-mast gaze. "Destroying what should have been destroyed years ago." With those whispered words, he brought the dancing flame to the cover of the book. Flames licked around the edges, blackening the pages until they withered and became a pale white. The ashes trickled down like the beginning of snow on a blistering winter night. Snow. Such a pure element to think of under such circumstances. Snow resembled a blank slate, new beginnings. Maybe this could have been what this was if I had burned the damn book the moment it landed in my possession.

The Winter Fairy

The Winter Fairy

The Winter Fairy *** Elena and Uriel get back to Winterfell only to discover how dead, lifeless and dreadful the kingdom was. The beautiful flowers which glow with colours turned into fly traps and bones were seen scattered around. The river that glowed with light was turned into a bubbling black goo of swap demonic fishes. The sky turned dark with gloomy dark clouds that came with thunderstorms and lightning. It got worse with uncontrollable winds and a downpour of rain drops. Winterfell has never looked more terrifying than that.

The Alpha’s 99 Days Surrogate

The Alpha’s 99 Days Surrogate

"They’re human now. The other prisoners... they aren't being kind to them. A Dud in a wolf’s prison doesn't last long." "Keep them alive," I commanded. "I want them to see us leave for the North. I want them to see the world I'm building while they rot in the dark." Killian nodded, but his focus was on the window. The sky was turning a pale, sickly grey. The first snow of the season was beginning to fall, drifting through the open roof and landing on the black obsidian of the throne. The Northern Winter was coming. And as I looked at the golden eyes of my son, I realized the Citadel was the easy part. Out there, in the frozen wastes, there were no silver chains to absorb. There was only the

THE VILLAINESS REMEMBERED ME:In Every Timeline, She Chose De

THE VILLAINESS REMEMBERED ME:In Every Timeline, She Chose De

--- Solenne wrote the story of Winter's final days. She sat beside the stone bench, her notebook open, her pen moving across the page. The watcher showed her visions of Winter's life—the decades of tending graves, the quiet strength, the unwavering presence. She wrote about the grief Winter had carried, the hope she had nurtured, the love she had shared. "Winter was not a witness of the first generation," Solenne wrote. "She came after Clara, after Morwen, after Seren. But she carried their legacy as though it were her own. She kept the graves. She held the space. She stayed."

Beneath the Winter Moon

Beneath the Winter Moon

The wind had died down, but the snow still fell, gentle, quiet, like ash drifting from the sky. Most of the pack grounds had gone to sleep, chimneys exhaling lazy smoke trails into the night, the faint golden flicker of firelight dancing behind a few windows. The hush of the storm beyond the wards felt distant, like another world.

Seven Years of Winter Before Spring

Seven Years of Winter Before Spring

Her stomach felt heavy, even breathing felt like a strain. “Eat something,” Madeline frowned. “Look at how skinny you’ve gotten.” Wendy forced down a bite of bread, her throat clogged and raw. By the time the plane landed, night had fallen. Lights glittered across the unfamiliar city as Wendy stepped out of the airport. The cold wind lifted her hair, and a sense of disorientation gripped her. There would be no Miles, no Belinda, and no suffocating days here. All those were behind her.

Black Claw: Bound by Fate

Black Claw: Bound by Fate

The winter never left, not really. It had a knack for slipping through new mortar and scavenged glass, worming into the lungs of the sick, coiling into the cracked seams of children’s boots. Even in summer, the smell of thaw carried a bite, and Elena never quite trusted the sunlight not to vanish between two blinks.

Tamed by the Blind Alpha King

Tamed by the Blind Alpha King

"Are you cold? Shall I close the inner shutters?" "I'm not cold at all," Lyra whispered back, leaning her head sideways to rest against his cheek. She lifted one of her hands from her mug to cover his, intertwining her fingers with his calloused ones. "I was just thinking about how strange it is. For most of our lives, winter meant survival. It meant freezing border patrols, dwindling food stores, and watching the skies for void-flocks or frost-wraiths. Now... it just looks like a painting."

The Feast of the Luna

The Feast of the Luna

he said, his hand covering hers on the hearthstone. "Do you think they’ll ever forgive us? For turning their gifts into weapons?" Fenris looked at the tapestry, then at the pack, and finally into Elara’s eyes. "They’ll be alive, Elara. In the North, that’s the only forgiveness that matters." Outside, the first snow of the true winter began to fall—not the soft, dancing flakes of a mountain autumn, but the hard, driving sleet of a world that had forgotten how to be warm. The Black Ridge stood firm, a dark shadow against the white, its heartbeat a steady rhythm of steel, wool, and the defiant pulse of a Luna who had decided that the winter would not take her home.
