Her Deadly Revenge

Her Deadly Revenge

Pulling the trigger, his body seemed to pause for the smallest moment before plunging to the ground. Thomas's gun went off, killing the other man with a gun. Gray Beard wasn't out in the open like the others, and I couldn't see him. He was the only one I wanted to kill. "Do you smell that?" Thomas whispered. Inhaling, I instantly smelled decay and rot. "Yeah. That's what that guy was talking about. There must be a group of biters coming." Assessing our surroundings, I couldn't see any of the dead yet. The only movement was the man with an arrow in his belly. He was trying to stand with the help of his friend.

I really got sucked into this book. It was very good. It has nothing to do with wolves, like the blurb above says. It's more like an end of the world type book. Wasn't something I normally read, but I'm glad I did.

The blurb and the title don’t match this book. The story is about a zombie apocalypse, a bunch of strangers that meet and their relationships that develop throughout. I thought the ending was good, but I would love to read a sequel for some much needed closure. Overall, it’s a really good book.

Deadly Mate

Deadly Mate

I typed in my code and began to read. Target: Samuel Adams Male, 24 Last known location: 24 miles North- Northeast of Deer Lodge, Montana. Isolated cabin off Canyon Ferry Lake. Occupants: One hostage, 13 year old female. Will rescue in the morning. Offence: Killing and setting fire to multiple locations resulting in 9 deaths. Amount: 200k for completion of job, bonus of 20k for unharmed minor left alone in bed. It included a picture of the man, short stubbly looking guy, ragged beard with moustache, dark brown eyes, shaggy eyebrows, missing a few teeth and looks like he hasn’t bathed in months. I could almost smell him from here.

Love the whole femme fetal feel you have with the women, definitely a good vibe. It’s a little slow to start but not in a dragging kind of way, it’s all great information. Can’t wait to keep reading and see how things develop with the FL and the ML.

Love the characters. How bold and strong Scarlett is and how Jaxson truly cares for his mate and their future heir. Currently reading 60+ chapters. Can't stop reading till I know that Jared is strip of on his title as Alpha and being killed so that they could live in peace! ...

Caught in the Crossfire

Caught in the Crossfire

I had that feeling you get when you’ve almost remembered a vague fact that has been escaping you. With this in mind, at the end of the day, the Trivisonnos were still the most dangerous people in my life, regardless of this new development. There may be a new party trying to kill me, but the Trivisonnos would keep me alive long enough to toy with me, a scratch here, a scruff there, until they had frightened me so much, I was easy prey.

Billionaire's Deadly Obsession

Billionaire's Deadly Obsession

She could hear the panic in his voice—Vaughn Steele, the man known for his cold, calculating nature, was losing control. She wanted to laugh, but she was too weak. "You—you're crying," she murmured. "Shut up," he snapped, but his voice cracked, betraying the storm raging inside him. Her lips curled into a faint smile. "I guess... I finally tamed the beast." The world around her tilted, the edges of her vision darkening, but she fought to stay conscious. Not yet. Not when her children were watching. She forced her gaze past him, past the lifeless body of the woman who had pulled the trigger, and found them—her babies.

She lay there until she was sure that the person was gone. Immediately she noticed that he was outta sight, she came out from the bed with cautious steps and went outside to peep, to see what was going on. Lots of dead bodies lay on the floor, people were murdered in cold blood that brought shivers down her spine. She couldn't believe that Beta Derek was so wicked that he didn't care about shedding innocent people's blood just for the throne. I couldn't believe how much my father trusted and respected him and yet he turned out to be our worst nightmare.

The Darkest Hour

That meant Vadym needed to keep the fossil trade successful in order to afford his little hobby. A hunger to hurt something rose up in him, and he stood and walked over to a bookshelf full of priceless Western literature first editions. Most were irreplaceable. He'd bought them because he loved to know he could destroy them at his leisure. He pulled one back halfway from its companions. There was a soft click as the shelf separated from the wall. Vadym pulled the bookshelf away from the wall, revealing a padlocked door. He removed a key from his pocket and unlocked it. When he opened it, the light from his office illuminated the dark confined space and the pathetic half-naked figure chained

The Deadly Drop

The Deadly Drop

Some middle-aged guy broke into a woman's apartment in the middle of the night, tortured her to death, and then dove off the thirteenth-floor balcony. It was nasty enough to have the whole office buzzing. By dinner time, the police released the names: Julian and Lily. I raised an eyebrow. Nice. Supposed they finally got their 'happily ever after.'

Deadly Affairs

Deadly Affairs

As I do so, a strange explosion fills my stomach, triumphant that finally there's a replacement of Jordan Crown's beauty. A bit skips as our hands intertwine. Time seems to tick beyond count and age blurs into each other. The entire universe collapsed back to BigBang and was reborn. Stars and planets dies and scatters into the dark nothingness. For these five seconds of staring, nothing else holds significance. Just two windows and a gaze into a moment. Nothing else. Just a stare before the explosion. “Keila Taylor.” We shake hands.
