Dean Koontz Apocalypse Book Novels & Stories

And drug both himself and JD across the slick floor. Cooper sat down on the couch and picked up the Omega-verse paperback romance novel that was on the cushion. He knew the author and had several of their books on his e-reader. Not that he would admit that. Unknown to most, he had two e-readers, the one that he read around everyone else, and the one that he read in the privacy of his small apartment. “This yours?” He asked Dean as he held up the book so she could see it. “Technically, it’s Cheryl’s. I already finished it. Is the bookmark blue or green?” Dean replied as she and JD worked on the sandwiches.

He approached Shawn and whisper to his ear, “This is how simple my advice for you, just make sure you don’t die, or else, I will be the one who will kill you whether you’re in hell or heaven.” “W-what do you mean?” his nervousness started to cripple his body. He sighed in frustration, "It seems that I have no choice but to tell you," he walked towards him, "Chaos and destruction are on their way to hunt you so you need to prepare for what's coming. Always remember that you are the key." Shawn shakes his head in disagreement, "I don't understand what you're talking about. You must be mistaken." The man smiled again at him, “You’ll know soon enough, but it’s time for me to go so I’ll see you a

THE END? Not if you dive into Mercedes’ other books: Nameless: The Darkness Comes—Luna Masterson sees demons. She has been dealing with the demonic all her life, so when her brother gets tangled up with a demon named Sparkles, ‘Luna the Lunatic’ rolls in on her motorcycle to save the day. Armed with the ability to harm demons, her scathing sarcasm, and a hefty chip on her shoulder, Luna gathers the most unusual of allies, teaming up with a green-eyed heroin addict and a snarky demon ‘of some import.’ After all, outcasts of a feather should stick together . . . even until the end.

The pain of being dismembered was so precise, so unbearable, he could still feel it now. This was not a dream. Holding his head, he replayed the fifteen days of the apocalypse in his mind. They were too concrete, down to every second—especially the last moments. There was only one possibility. "I… I've been reborn." He fumbled for his phone. The date on the screen read March 1. The apocalypse had happened on June 1—he remembered it exactly because he had planned to take his son to an amusement park that day. They'd just stepped outside when the hail began; one ball hit him and the pain had made him question his life.

… Through Leo's and my persistent efforts in leading the team to search high and low within the former forests for clues, we finally managed to find the main source of the water contamination. A massive meteorite had fallen on Earth and was now sitting on the peak of a mountain, transmitting its destructive radiation down through the roots of the trees and contaminating all nearby water sources on Earth. The apocalypse had happened because of this meteorite. Octoria, one of the major countries, had launched missiles at it, intending to shatter the meteorite before it entered the Earth's stratosphere. However, they hadn't known then that the meteorite would turn out to be so hard and dense.

“I don’t want to lose my humanity.” He was about to assure her that he would do whatever it took to prevent that from happening when a few dozen of the zombie’s slower companions surrounded them. They instantly slid into zombie killing mode. The conversation about what she was becoming would have to wait. The first thing that Kendra realized was that the zombies weren’t really interested in her and Rex. It was the deer that they were after. Because she didn’t feel the threat that she normally felt upon their approach, she laid back for a few seconds to see what she could hear in her head. She heard nothing, but she sensed their hunger and undeniable drive to get to the deer.

the last of them sassed “This is absurd” Mother cried out “You know you can do this without her having to die right?” “Yes but where’s the fun in that” They answered in sync. Totally creeping me out I looked round and found my father and brothers looking at each other with eyes glazed over and I knew they were communicating telepathically “Ugh… so how is this going down…” Mama asked again “Yes!!! Here’s the plan… Chaos will have to…” ****** ****** On the Third Day Alpha River’s P.O.V

“Like what?” I rest my ankle over my knee and settle my elbow on the armrest. “For one, the grass and trees were scorched. It looked like someone dropped a bomb in the middle of it, but there are no bomb particles or any evidence of bomb residue. Yet, the ground and the burnt remains were covered in blood.” Fallon’s clear eyes narrow thoughtfully. “Wait, aren’t those signs of the apocalypse?” I nod. “It seems to be. However, as I explained to Mathias and Azazel, I did not order an apocalypse. I wouldn’t do that, considering you and Lana are here. Let me also state that I have no desire to start an apocalypse.”

It was a perfect fit. Tara scoped the room for a place to put it. Maggie insisted she keep the book safe. The second-floor den had an enormous bookcase built into the wall. If she placed it on the top shelf it could easily blend in with the array of books of all shapes and sizes that were stuffed, shoved and crammed in rows from floor to ceiling. She felt a little light headed when she stood up. She couldn’t decide if it was from the power emanating from the book she held close to her chest or simply because she stood up too fast. Whatever the reason, she took the time to stand still and wait for her equilibrium to come back before heading off to the den. ****

Suddenly, he felt a strange vibration throughout his body and looked up to see unfamiliar words written on the cave wall. With a burst of light, the words disappeared, and he saw the light shoot up to the moon, surrounded by a shimmering dance of stars. He followed the light until he found himself in the maternity ward of Corer Hospital. The light stopped at Ward 119, and he heard the cry of a newborn baby.
