⸻ Dark clouds gathered overhead. Lightning flashed across the sky. ⸻ As if nature itself was listening. ⸻ The Fallen Celestial continued staring. ⸻ Then— It knelt. ⸻ The entire battlefield froze. ⸻ Lucian immediately stepped in front of Amara. ⸻ Kael blinked. ⸻ “…Did the apocalypse just kneel?” ⸻ Dante looked exhausted. ⸻ “At this point nothing surprises me anymore.” ⸻ The Fallen Celestial lowered its head.

Some doors still hung open. Others had blood smeared across them. No military. No police. No rescue convoys. Only silence, which was broken occasionally by distant sirens echoing through the valley below. The apocalypse had moved beyond panic. Now came the collapse. Evelyn stepped over scattered belongings near the edge of the motel lot while Rowan crouched briefly beside an abandoned SUV. “Tank’s empty,” he muttered. Of course it was. I always thought he was a bit crazy…”

I thought back to the look on Emilia's face when she handed the antidote to Dustin, remembered the way she carelessly tossed the suppressant to me, and how she casually spoke about "being impartial". At that point, I started laughing. My laughter echoed through the quiet hospital room, sounding oddly out of place. Iris frowned. "What's so funny?"

Something is visibly missing between the legs. The woman's shirt is open all the way. Yanlong turned around the face of the zombie to look at it. It is the dean's secretary. It's quite clear where the missing piece has gone. Despite the obscenity, Yanlong has taken pictures of both the secretary's face and Dean's face, and sent them to Huomei. They are posting it on one of the university website pages. Yanlong retrieved the nuclei of the dean and secretary. Dean is a sensitive type, which accurately guesses the power. Yanlong is very happy to find one. This is not a rare type, but it's not also all that common. It is the most useful type of sensitive. Simply put, this is the iron rice bowl o
