Chapter Three : Jay pov I told myself it didn't mean anything. The staring. The way my chest went tight when Cole Ashford looked at me. The fact that I replayed every word of that gym conversation while lying in bed at 2am, staring at my ceiling, my heart beating too fast. It didn't mean anything. I had a girlfriend. A good one. Maya was kind, beautiful, and somehow not turned off by my secondhand sweaters and calloused hands. She laughed at my stupid jokes. She remembered my coffee order. Then with another, quieter voice, she added; “It was just a mistake...” “Is that what you ladies also tell your husbands when you sleep with other producers?” I see the color drain from their faces. That was just a shot in the dark, but turns out it was true.

The secretary explained. Dean found this very funny. "Destroy William's company. Let's see what the Wilson family will do." "They have a familial relationship, don't they?" Dean added. At those words, Sebastian’s brows furrowed as he snapped coldly, “Enough!” His voice was not loud, but it cut through the entire room like a blade, silencing everyone immediately. As everyone stared in disbelief, he spoke slowly and deliberately, each word carrying unmistakable weight. “The woman standing before you is the president of Evercrest Group, Miss Vivienne Silva.” The entire room fell into complete silence for a brief moment. I find myself wondering what it is about her, that made her so special and why can't he get over her?
