Death Wish

Death Wish

I say taking a sip of my water His surprise showed on his face, "No?" He asks "Death!" I shouted for my mate In the snap of a finger, he was standing beside me, "Mhm?" He looks at me "Can you like get your friend away from me please, this is harassment," I sigh taking another sip of my water "Ares," Death addresses the guy tiredly "How did she do that?" He asks Death "Well she's a Goddess and she already found her mate, so your magic doesn't work on her," Death tells him

Secret of a one night stand

Secret of a one night stand

"Last evening" Everything fell silent when he received a deadly look from the black-haired girl. "Be careful, this is a public place." ~Karenai tsuyoi omoide kagayaku puraido~ ~Unmei ni aragatte yuke~ The ringtone of the phone rang, and Leon and she both reached into the pocket at the same time. "..." Gray was a bit surprised that he still used that song as his ringtone. She, too, also used the song.

Gunnar

Gunnar

I was pretty sure Gunnar didn't care but I was happy to get them out there. My chest moved up and down in time with my rapid-paced heartbeat. Gunnar's facial expression softened exponentially but as he began opening his mouth to voice his reply, my ringtone cut through the room in a loud shrill. It wasn't just any ringtone, it was the ringtone I set for my best friend — Pony by Ginuwine. Gunnar groaned deeply, running a hand down his face, "Do you know how difficult it is to concentrate on work with that damn ringtone of yours going off every half hour?"

This book is a must read. I couldn't put this book down. The characters are very realistic and the story line is something you can actually see happening in real life; especially when you have a dysfunctional family. This book is full of humor as well. I absolutely loved it.

Loved is actually an understatement. One of the best stories I have ever read. Just finished Ace (freaking amazing, loved just as much) and going to finish this binge reading by reading Jericho. Worth reading all night, who needs sleep when you have these outstanding characters keeping you company!

After Death, I Gave Up

After Death, I Gave Up

"Everyone always said you were born cursed. Just like that psychic said, you'd be the one to ruin me and keep me from what was rightfully mine. Even after they sent you away, I was still terrified. You not being dead is my nightmare every single night." Melody looked like a madwoman. "Later, I found that psychic again," she spat. "He was nothing but a fraud. My parents paid him well, so he pretended to be clever and made up a bunch of rubbish. But I wasn't satisfied. You deserved to die. I got this statue from him. He told me that if I stuffed a person's birth data and hair into it, I could burn that person's life away and make it serve me. So what if I copied your designs, Charlotte? It's a

Let My Death Complete Your Rhythm

Let My Death Complete Your Rhythm

"Lyra is still waiting for me. Tomorrow is our wedding anniversary, and I promised to spend the entire day with her." Thalia looked annoyed. "But I'm still not feeling well." "I'll come to see you immediately after tomorrow," Jude said before rushing out the door. Just then, the phone in his coat pocket suddenly started vibrating. He answered the call, and the voice on the other end immediately said, "Hello, are you Ms. Lyra Yates' family? I'm sorry to inform you that Ms. Yates has jumped off a cliff."

Touch Me And You're Dead[English]

Touch Me And You're Dead[English]

Nothing existed in the space—no walls, no air, no warmth. There was no water, but he felt like he was drowning. No fire, yet his body burned. And though there was no wind, an icy chill crept into his fingers. “This isn’t even funny…” His eyes stared blankly into the nothingness, expressionless. His soul—silent. The kind of silence that screamed louder than any noise. Not even in dreams could he find light. This was more than a nightmare. “I don’t even know my purpose… why do I need to live?” he whispered, leaning his head back as if asking the universe why he couldn’t just die.

Love Me When I'm Dead

Love Me When I'm Dead

My fiancé sent me overseas and immediately burned my wallet, threw away my phone, and tore up my visa. He did it all to make sure I couldn't return home and ruin his wedding to his first love. His friends tried to warn him. "Don't go too far. What if your fiancée really gets angry?" But my fiancé didn't care at all. "She's gotten too spoiled because I've always treated her too well. I'm just teaching her to be more understanding. Besides, Yvonne and I aren't really getting married. I'm only doing this so her dying grandmother can pass away without regrets. Nothing will happen between us. Once the wedding is over, I'll make it up to Winnie." The moment his wedding ended, he rushed to find me

Rich Under Their Hate: The Social Status System

It started to ring. She stared at it, paralyzed, as the ringtone—a sound she hadn't heard in years—began to play. It was the sound of their mother’s voice, synthesized into a perfect, chilling, synthetic lullaby. "Pick it up," Chalida whispered, her voice trembling. "It’s not asking us anymore, is it?" "No," Pim said, staring at the ringing device. "It’s ordering us." She reached for the phone. Her hand was shaking. She hit 'Accept.'

Death Bliss

Death Bliss

Going back would mean sitting across from that smile again, and I cannot sit across from that smile again, because if I sit across from that smile again I will sign whatever he puts in front of me and I will tell myself it was for my father and the kitchen and Serafina, and I will be lying. The payphone outside the station is bolted to a concrete pillar, the receiver scarred with graffiti and the cord kinked in three places. I dig a handful of euro coins from my pocket and feed them into the slot and dial my father's number from memory, the way I have been dialing it since I was old enough to reach the phone, and I listen to it ring six times before he picks up. "Pronto." "Papà," I say, and

forgetting things and memories becomes my normal that's why I didn't bother at all. But, some of my classmates asked me that this is not a normal forgetness anymore and I should consult at the doctor. So what would they called it? Amnesia? Alzheimer? For me, that's not their concern or problem. I supposed. I immediately grabbed my phone when it rang. "Hello?" "Sava...? Where are you?" I heard Neri's voice. "On my way.." I said as I hang up the phone and fasten my work. I need to catch up on Deku's funeral!
