Deck The Hall Lyrics Novels & Stories

Hey, don't bother queen no more Please don't wake queen up no more Red queen keep it up go on Fill up a black martini Fill up the glass for the queen without pity A bouquet of flowers in the dark I give her lullaby bye bye bye Bye my majesty That girl with the beautiful smile That girl who everybody calls pretty That girl even you know That girl everybody loves That girl is oh so pitiful That girl everybody is afraid of That girl you know Well this is trivial It's an absurd story Believe it or not, it's a silly story

“Now let’s go, let’s not keep your man waiting.” Together, we left my room and headed to the hall. When we walked in, I had to pause for a second. Even though Aiden had said it would be a “small” party, it didn’t look anything like small to me. Soft lights decorated the walls, flowers and ribbons were everywhere, and a slow song played gently in the background. The hall was bubbling. People were laughing, talking, and sipping drinks. It was warm, elegant, and full of life.

Beautiful or not, I was walking into chains that I might never get out of. There was a carriage waiting outside for me. I sat in it, hoping that it'd trip and I'd die. I wished for some miracle of some sort to happen, but nothing happened. The hall glowed with candles and wolf fire. Timber stood tall at the center, grinning like the devil himself. The elders spoke and talked to themselves. The hall was filled with light and laughter. Music played, drums and flutes mixing with the clinking of cups. Wolves danced, spinning in circles, stamping the ground in celebration. People drank wine like it was water, and they were famished.

Chelsea Red sang, "Well I found a woman, stronger than anyone I know, She shares my dreams, I hope that someday I'll share her home, I found a love, to carry more than just my secrets, To carry love, to carry children of our own, We are still kids, but we're so in love, Fighting against all odds, I know we'll be alright this time, Darling, just hold my hand, Be my girl, I'll be your man, I see my future in your eyes."

Right now I don't want this strange feeling to start back, I just need to remain glad for this day. The car stops and Zack signal me we are already there, I turn my head to the music Hall who seems small from outside but surely big inside. We get down and a little bit stress I stay in front of the Hall. " Come on!" He said. " Are you sure we can enter?" I asked. " Of course, so come on." I execute and enter the hall. I follow Zack not knowing my way and we finally find ourselves in a big place with some instruments already installed on the stage and some light already on.

The Great Hall was decorated in everything still left green this time of year in the Drake Kingdom. Holly and Ivy was tucked away along with white and gold bunting along the rafters while bouquets of rosemary encircled the gold candlesticks on the long rows of dining tables. When Damien and Gretchen entered the wreath hung wooden doors of the hall, the warm glow of the firelight made Gretchen shine like the sun as it caught her crown and the gold stitching of her dress. As all their family and subjects rose to greet them, Damien kissed Gretchen's hand then led her to their place at their family's table. As the smell of the dueling aromas of food hit Gretchen's nose, she closed her eyes tight

'Cause I love you, a bushel and a peck You bet your purdy neck, I do A doodle oodle, ooh doo A doodle oodle, oodle, ooh doo I love you, a bushel and a peck A bushel and a peck though you make my heart a wreck Make my heart a wreck and you make my life a mess Make my life a mess, yes a mess of happiness About you, about you” Until I saw nothing but darkness.

What more could I ask for? The hall was beautiful. More than beautiful and I wished that this day would not come to an end. “Welcome to the ball.” Someone mounted the stage with these words. “The Alpha has asked all in this hall to feel free and have all the fun that they can.” He said and hopped down, leaving me with a few thoughts of which one was how much I would love it if I saw the rest of the decoration. “My lady?” Someone from behind me called. “Aella. What do you want from me now?”

Then the hall erupted around him howls, cheers, pounding fists against tables and chair backs, wolves shouting his name with the kind of rough joy that only came when something long overdue was finally set right. Jared bowed his head once. Deep. Not to the pack. To Decker. And Lotty felt the shift of loyalty in the room like something physical. Not new. Not born tonight. Confirmed tonight. Decker was not Gregory. Everyone here knows it now. By the time the cheering died down, the hall had become louder than ever, more drinking, more music, more stories starting in one corner and being shouted across three tables before they were done. And through all of it, Decker stayed close. Sometimes tal
