I let out a cough and rubbed the back of my neck. “Yeah, Mom, sorry. This is Demi she is a… um” Damn, what was she called again. “A Keres” Demi answered for me. “Right, a Keres. She assists the Gods in a way kind of like a Valkyrie.” My mother nodded her head. “She was sent here by our Goddess Selene and the Dragon God Typhon to keep an eye on me.”

I asked, my voice struggling to hide the laughter and soon after, I giggled, accepting his humour and comedic genius, "you are quite the comedy genius, Master Abigor." He chuckled, capturing me in his arms as he held me close, bending over and placing his lips to my neck and I shivered, "I never joke, my Aphrodite," he whispered against my neck, the vibrations from his voice coursing through my body and causing a spark of desire in the lower parts of my stomach. "Immortality only exists for the Gods, Master Abigor," I told him, my hands reaching into his luscious hair and playing with the silky strands that I could never get enough of, "what do you speak of?"

But, it was obvious that Daimonas will never be contented and will do everything to gain more power, even if he needs to kill the Gods. The Gods feared the Demon Lord Daimonas. They feared that one day he will obtain a power that none of them could handle. They were afraid that the Demon Lord will one day be the reason of their extinction. The Gods know that they need to interfere, so they have to do something to stop this ambitious being. So, the Gods contacted one of the ancient Gods, the God of faith and destiny, the God named Prepromeno. The Gods asked Prepromeno, they pleaded to make a prophecy that would stop the Demon Lord Daimonas growth. But Prepromeno neglected their requests.

Those foolish Alphas even slaughtered the Oracles who guarded the world from this darkness, clearing the path perfectly for my new plan. ​After they departed the area, I struck a bargain with a very ancient and very powerful god named Deimos. He promised to grant me every single one of my dreams in exchange for a single worthy soul. Apparently, even gods from hundreds of thousands of years ago could be blinded by affection. All he desired was for his male child to walk the earth alive once more. ​"She is not a creature of light, you foolish child," Deimos's voice boomed loudly from the center of the fog.

Elias instinctively reached up, touching the tarnished silver band resting on his brow. "It wasn't mined, Architect," Elias said, his voice dropping to a whisper. "It was recovered. From the impact crater." "What crater?" I demanded. "The one at the roof of the world," Cord answered, stepping forward, his massive chest heaving. "The highest peak in the northern frozen wastes. The wolves call it the Goddess's Tear. It is a massive, frozen crater where a fragment of the moon struck the earth ten thousand years ago." I felt the familiar, terrifying thrill of a new impossible equation locking into place.

Riordan’s eyes gleamed with hope and stared at Thomas for a long time. To increase Riordan’s confidence in him, Thomas added, “Aside from the identity that I mentioned earlier, I am also the God of War from the west coast, in charge of thousands of troops. Eventually, she stopped asking. One afternoon, while dragging water through the Upper Tier, she paused outside a classroom. The heavy stone doors stood slightly ajar. Inside, pale apprentice gods sat rigidly at black desks under the severe gaze of an instructor tracing glowing symbols across a slate of crystal. "...The First Divine War reshaped the heavens..." the priest intoned. The apprentices repeated the mantra in chilling unison. The girl stood silently in the shadows. She watched the glowing shapes, listening intently as the children chanted. Her mind, desperate to make sense of her prison, began linking the sharp lines to the spoken sounds.

Kian hugs his papa. "Okay, they're here let's start before it gets flooded here." Kaios said when the other deities arrived. Kian's parents stand with Kōri and Feu. Kaios, Selene and Leluna stand up to greet the newcomers. The other deities who arrived are Asili, the deity of the four elements. Water, fire, earth, and wind. Galax, the deity of the stars and time. Lastly, the Sun deity which is also the king of the deities and Leluna's brother, Ijus. Kian and Kaleb are overwhelmed with their presence.

But this child was innocent. Everyone in the hall stood in shock. Evadne, mostly. Her face went dead white. She shook all over. "Deimos, how could you be so cruel? He is just an innocent baby!" "Cruel?" Deimos fired back coldly. "The War God clan values loyalty above all! You betrayed me first! You shamed me in front of the gods!" Deimos looked at her. His eyes held zero love. Deimos had one good trait. His absolute loyalty.
