“What do you mean?” “Some of his books ended up in the library at school—anything dealing with the gods.” Eliza swept the sidewalk around them with her eyes to make sure no one was paying them any attention. “Oh, okay. Right. He was a demigod?” She nodded. “Some of the founding fathers were.” “It’s so . . . weird. I mean they all did things that were incredible, like no regular person could do. And now it all makes sense.” “Mm-hmm,” she confirmed. “Much of this country’s founding was really a dedication to the gods—the architecture, the sculptures, the paintings, symbolism, all of it. Athena herself invested time in the founding of this country.”

As she neared the end of her journey, a strange sensation gripped her heart, making it hard to breathe. The priest, Father Henry, stood at the altar, resplendent in his white robe. He had a serene smile on his face as he held the Bible open, ready to officiate the ceremony. He was no longer a kid, his beard was slowly growing, but his warm ebony eyes were the same. They were the eyes that Khana had once gazed into and had seen her soul. The same eyes that had loved her like no other.

they muttered in realization. “That’s right. Tet is also a deity.” Lovis said. “He is the deity of lightning while Phyros is the deity of fire. Hores is the deity of the underworld and Griezel is the deity of nature.” He looked at them. “From this, you should already be able to guess it. That the deities – “ he took a deep breath. “ – there has always been one… in each kind. And this is the reason why Neid, the deity of space, believed that there is only one of him as the space ability user.” He explained.

I settle in with Katie while Diane takes Maya. “Interesting stuff.” She raises her eyebrows. “I’ll send you the full report to your email, but the important parts are that while we all think of her as the Goddess of Love, she is, more specifically, the Goddess of Physical Love. So, that makes her important to the physical part of our relationships, which we all know is important, but it is just a piece of the equation. Aside from Aphrodite, there are seven deities responsible for what we think of as love. They are called Erotes. We know them as cherubs. Think about images of cute little fat baby angels.”

Something was going on. … "It was a bold move, brother!" Adras said. "Invading a country, supposedly protected by the gods." "Not to mentioning almost draining the princess dry," Yura continued. I had heard this stories so many times before. 'I have lived for over 2 thousand years, nothing, not even some pretend gods could hurt me.' "I grew sick of hearing the nonsense and prophesies about a blessed princess in a protected country, " I answered them angry. "We are the gods, we take everything we want, it is rightfully ours to take."

Samuel shook his head in confusion. "The Eight Desolations Heavenly Book is said to be a kind of divine object that existed since the birth of the Eight Direction World. It records the names of all the True Gods in the Eight Direction World. Whether in the past, now, or in the future, it is also called the Investiture of the Gods. Unfortunately, it is an object that might bring unlucky things. It is said that anyone who has met it will not be able to escape death in the end. In addition, it itself is both good and evil, so everyone has forgotten it for tens of millions of years." Velocisaurus explained. After hearing these words, Samuel was a little worried. He didn’t know whether it was rea

he said while keeping his eyes on mine. “Tell us then, what is your assumption, Prophet?” Elaine said firmly. Multiple gasps were heard from around the room at the term ‘Prophet’. How could she possibly know if he was a Prophet? I understand that she has experience with Seer’s, seeing as she lives with Pappi. But a Prophet? A Seer has natural power and ability, something that is tangible to the people around them, therefore not easily impersonated. A Prophet is not so easily recognized, as not all of them are powerful, and in most cases, the majority of them are frauds. Traditionally a Prophet is just a holy man, a disciple of the Goddess that claims to hold a direct line of contact. Weres h

After drying myself up, Sarah had already prepared my clothes, a gown, and a coat on the bed. "No training today?" I asked. "Not after what happened yesterday. Everyone is still on edge," Sarah said. The gown seemed like a formal occasion. "Are we having visitors over?" I asked. "The alpha decided it's time for you to get examined by the priestess." "Priestess?" I laughed. "You people have high priests here too? I thought it was just a myth." "Yes, we do have priestesses and priests. They are the ones that help us consult with our deities. It's the same thing with humans consulting the help of their gods with pastors, imams, rabbis, and all that," she lectured me.

He casts me a cursory glance and goes back to distracting me. I huff and he looks at me again. The he tips his chin towards the book I'm reading . “What is that?” “A book.” He doesn't look amused “I mean what book is that? What are you reading?” “The history of veltrith Dominion. It's pretty interesting.” “Yeah?” “Uh huh. Do you know the gods appeared only once? Like since the breathed things into existence.” “Yeah. We were taught in school. They didn't tell us why though.”

“Tell me about the gods and goddesses, Alaric.” “Well, there were twelve gods and goddesses, I killed three and you killed one, leaving them with eight. There is Ramiel, god of thunder, Haziah, god of Ice, Selene, goddess of Love, Azura, goddess of water, Hades, god of the underworld, Alinta, goddess of flame, Aron, god of Hate and Noel, god of Earth.”
