Said D2, putting the book down and standing up. “What kind of training and how do you know so munch about the necklace?” asked Sekora putting her hands on her hips. “Well portal training and I know so munch because I am the former Sword Keepers apprentice.” Said D2 matter of factly. “Why didn’t you tell me that before!” exclaimed Sekora. “Didn’t think it would be important, sorry.” Said Dejon throwing up her hands and laughing. “This is not funny and that is one of the first things you should have told me when we met!” exclaimed Sekora.

15 am, all the trainees had gathered below Heaven Tower. Heaven Tower stood tall amongst the clouds, striking and elegant. “Today is the day where the new trainees will enter Heaven Tower for the practice test. Every newbie has to enter and accept the training. Regardless of the result, only those who accepted the training of Heaven Tower will be worthy enough to be students of our Leicom Academy!” Master Ykink walked out and announced to the crowd beneath. “The dean’s selected student, Gerald Crawford, will be the first to enter Heaven Tower for the practice training!”

“No.” Decker stepped closer again. “He knows the pack. The households. The expectations of the position. He knows who you should meet first, who matters, who to avoid, which traditions are worth your time and which ones are just old wolves playing at relevance.” That got her attention. “And,” he continued, “he’s going to train you.” Lotty blinked. “What?” “To fight.” She stared at him. Then at the door, as if Garrick might appear there immediately just to make it worse. “You’re serious.”

Normal combat training was put on hold and we only showed up at the arena to practice the fighting skills we've mastered and prepared to face our opponents on the D-day. The list of duel partners were pasted just like Delta Kyle had announced and I'd even gotten to meet the two girls I'll be dueling with, which I must defeat if I want to make it to the finals. I watched them train and that was the worst thing I could ever do to myself. They are good, so good that it made me nervous at first, but I no longer feel that way, thanks to Delta Kyle. He has been my personal coach for the past few days. He said he wants me to win and he has trained me for victory. Alina could burst into pieces anyti

Amelia said while grabbing a bottle of water. “Thanks for the compliment” I said sarcastically. “You should be thanking your stars that it is Valerie that offered to train you” Keith said. “I think I would have preferred her” I said and they all burst out laughing. “May I ask what is funny?” I said while raising an eyebrow. “Wait till you see when Reuben comes back” Keith said. “Reuben is training?” I asked in disbelief. “We don’t want to take any chances, the pack elders always believe that a pup has to start training at the age of Twelve and I don’t know what their reaction will be once they find out he hasn’t trained before “ Caden explained.

Kane stood in the hallway, already dressed in jeans and a flannel shirt, holding a coffee mug. "Oh. I didn't hear him leave." "Derek's quiet when he wants to be." Kane smiled. "He runs every morning, rain or shine. Five miles through the forest. He'll be back by seven-fifteen." "That's... dedicated." "That's what it takes to be alpha." Kane's expression turned serious. "The pack looks to their leader for strength. Derek's been training his whole life for this role." Lily nodded, not knowing what else to say. Kane seemed nice, nothing like the cruel stepfather from fairy tales. That somehow made this whole situation worse.

With expensive equipment and materials, and a space wide enough to contain at least one thousand people, the training ground was reeking of a m*ssive investment of wealth. "Welcome ma'am, we're glad to have you with us," the tall well built kids instructor with neat six packs greets. I could almost drool while staring at those bisets. "I could also say the same thing about you," I respond with a giggle. If I knew the training ground was filled with so many hot instructors I would have dropped by a long time ago, I mean just staring at them fills my stomach. "You're drooling!" "Huh?" Dexter's abrupt interruption cuts into my imagination as I rush to clean my mouth only to find it dry.

she said softly. “I know you would love my presence here with you, but I really have to go now. Official duties are waiting for me” That seemed like the only logical and acceptable excuse. “I will see you when you return then” she said. We left. I had no strength to stand her one more second. The annual training of all elites from all the Pack was close, it was a concentrated training organized by the royal family. The courses were not limited to technology, finance, and management, it also included combat training like hunting, tactics and shooting.

I had to break it to Ryan the next day that Dez had the same idea, and was now forcing my hand in training with him, he couldn’t argue with it because he tries to stay in Dez’s good graces, but he wasn’t happy. Dez was two years older than me, and we grew up in a house where my dad valued being a gym rat. When we were little, he put us in things like Karate class, but as we got older he put us in things like Jiu-Jitsu and Krav Maga. When we weren’t in classes, he encouraged us to keep up our cardio and strength training, which is probably the reason Dez got into the business.

Dragon flight theory—mandatory safety harnesses. Shambhala monks teaching meditation to stressed freshmen. Oni twins—Aki and Riku—running an official forge elective (and still the underground bar, because some traditions die hard). Kael watches a mixed group—human, werewolf, fae—practicing basic storm calls on the training fields.
