The walls, the marble floors, the torches, they all dissolved into a void of silver brilliance, and I found myself standing alone, a single figure in the heart of eternity. The Moon spoke. He turned slowly, his eyes glowing faintly with suppressed fury. “I do not have a child that is a monster!” he spat, his voice reverberating through the room. “I already told you, you are an omega, and I am an alpha. Do you understand the disgrace you’ve brought upon me? Do you know what kind of mistake we are living?” My breath caught in my throat. Monster? Disgrace? His words were like daggers, each one piercing deeper than the last.

She growled, the veins on the side of her neck popping out. Then I noticed a mark on her neck. A quarter moon shape. It was familiar because– I had one too. It was the marks given to Omega at birth, to distinguish them from the rest. Hers was barely visible, it seemed she covered it with make up powder. “You are– you are an Omega.”
