I walked toward the door slowly, counting both my step, knocks on the door and how many beats my heart made within a second.
Checking the peek hole, I found a guy on a T-shirt, wearing a cap and with a box in hand.
Sigh. It was a delivery person.
But Mimi didn't mention ordering for anything. Neither did I.
I opened the door, wearing a confused look at the person.
“Sorry, ” I said with a doctored smile. “You have the wrong block.”
