The blade whistled away, its glowing blue blade faded to nonexistence, and the brat crash landed near the crack. He stalked over, his fingers curling, and he eyed the tendrils of hell energy latch onto demon son. It kept the struggling, snarling, white-blonde brat in place and he was pleased to see both fear and exhaustion bleed into the black eyes. A soft sigh left Dean lips and he stretched his whole body; rolled his shoulders and neck, and twisted his wrists and ankles in anticipation.

I swallow hard, feeling all the life drain out of me. “There’s no need to look so perplexed. Surely, you’ve heard of demons and contracts like this,” he says. “Of course, I have. But it’s stupid to believe in the supernatural. You’re toying with me, aren’t you?” I reply, thankful I’ve been able to find my voice. “Are you saying you don’t believe me?” He asks with mock worry in his voice. I shove the contract onto his chest, not bothering whether he catches it or not. “Yes. That’s exactly what I’m saying.”

The demon cried out in shock and Damon swiftly stabbed him in the chest, straight in his heart and using the same blade, he chopped off his head. The rest of the demons were looking terrified but they still attacked Damon... however they all met their end swiftly but painfully. Damon's blade was covered and dripping of blood when he was done but there was no time to dwell on his victory as Damon gazed ahead and saw a demon, a high ranked demon slicing through his men like they were pieces of paper and thin cloth.

“I take that as a yes.” He nods. “Fucking finally; we have a shoo-in. The witches have informed me that there is a tool to destroy a demon; it’s called the Nephilim Dagger and will literally kill any supernatural creature in existence. Even a God.” He says, the grin all but gone from his face. My eyes widen at this. “Where the fuck are we going to get one of those? It’s not like they sell it at your friendly Smithers around the corner,” I ask.

My eyes glowed intensely and a large orb of swirling dark energy slowly formed on my palms, "Deus Ex Mortem, heed my call. To bring forth destruction to this world's damned souls!" "Oblivio!" I screamed and the orb of dark energy discharged towards the group of demon sorcerers. A large explosion occurs reducing the demons into embers of dust and ashes. Through that feat, the Demons shrieked in horror once more. "He's an abomination!" One of them screamed. "Well, I had no reason to suspect that…." I tightly gripped my Short Sword once again and decidedly attacked the General for the second time. I need to make sure this one would connect.

he asks, obviously upset. "I was attacked." "That I can see. By what?" he says a bit angrily. "By a ghoul," I almost whisper out. Bennet's brow knit together. "By what?" "A ghoul. They're demons that feast upon vampire blood," I explain. "Why would it attack you? You're not a vampire and-" "This one I have a history with," I interrupt. Bennet frowns. "Tell me," he says as he lifts me up onto the bed. I sit between his legs, facing him. I lean forward and hug him. He reciprocates.

A middle aged man with pure black eyes that could tear through a soul. "Who has it?" Grey asked. His long history with demons, one long reoccurring lesson on never trusting a demon. He needs the Obsidian blade, the only weapon capable of killing a god. "The sword has a new guardian, they knew you would come for it!" His voice didn't shake, solid and cold like look on his face. "If indeed it was moved then you knew I would be here. I hope for your sake you prepared enough!" Grey brought a hand out of his pocket.

He looked at me in shock and I could see the fear in his eyes when he looked at my arm. "Demon." I heard him say before running away from my room. I just asked why he seems to be scared. Who is the demon? Me? What is a demon by the way? Then when I got dressed I went out of the room and went to the kitchen, I saw a knife fall to the floor so I took it but I immediately let it go and closed my eyes because I saw something in my mind again. I saw the face of my mom and the girl with the horns again, mom was holding a knife and stabbed that girl with the horns, the girl did not know because she was sleeping.

Pain flared white-hot as blood spilled down my palms, slick and warm, but I didn’t let go. I forced the blades inward and drove them against her chest. My twin’s smile faltered. Cracks spidered across her face like shattered porcelain. Her eyes turned black, hollow, and then her form splintered, crumbling into dust that scattered into the air. In the same breath, I wrenched the blade free, spun, and lunged. I drove it straight through Pelin’s twin. The illusion screamed once before collapsing into nothing. I caught Pelin falling hard in to my arms as her demon mark flared Inside her chest.

"There is one way." Kael looked up. "What way?" "The Twin Blades can cut more than flesh. They can cut hatred itself." Silence fell. Kael frowned. "You mean..." "They can separate Lucien's soul from the abyss." Hope flickered across Seraphine's face. "But only if he accepts it." Everyone looked toward Lucien. He was barely standing. Darkness covered half his face. His heartbeat was becoming the heartbeat of the abyss once again. The monster inside him laughed. "He will never let go."
