Abruptly, they came to a stop in an open field, the sight before making them gasp loudly. "ACE!!" Stefan shrieked, zipping toward his mate, imprisoned with Xavier's fingers fastened tightly around his neck, the Gamma's feet barely touching the ground while his face slowly lost traces of blood but before he could get near, an invisible force struck him on the chest, making him soar against a tree that fell over. Xavier...no, that wasn't Xavier, this was the demon that had been trapped inside of him for so many years. Jett peered in horror at the lifeless bodies that surrounded the demon on the forest floor.

I stopped struggling. My body was aching and my breaths were shallow, but with all that was left in me, I used my mindlink with Evelina to send her one last desperate plea: ’Let me go and focus on how to defeat him.’ It was a desperate plea, the last flicker of a dying flame, a message whispered through the tendrils of darkness. Chapter 16 “Demon fire” POV Ayesha “Why are you back? You’re not wanted here, Ayesha. You should leave before I hurt you!” I get off the chair and walk slowly over. “Why do you smell like a corpse? Are you dead?” Stella growls, and Julia steps back. “Thanatos is mine now. You need to accept that and move on.” Julia says. I feel Stella fighting to take over. I continue to walk forward, and Julia continues to walk backwards. “You can’t take what was never yours to begin with.” I smile.

The only positive is that their hunger does not need to be daily, unlike some others. I think back my mind goes back to the moment when Elio discovered me on the street during our luna ceremony. The anger in his eyes was palpable as he transformed into his demon form. I glance back at the book, hoping to find any clues on how to differentiate the seven different demons. Unfortunately, they all seem to be described in the same way. I bite my lip, leaning back in the chair, deep in thought. If Elio is indeed a demon, then it’s highly likely that Cahya is one as well seeing as they are brothers. The weight of uncertainty bears down on me, tugging at the edges of my consciousness.

He licked his lips and sat comfortably on his side of the table, his eyes eager for my questions. "How did you even get here? Like demons and stuff? Like is it from the one in the bible?" I was stuttering and he smirked, he took his sip of water before answering me. "I'm from the other dimension, Eve. But for your understanding, you can consider it as entities and such but not the one in the book you are saying." I nodded and another questions popped into my mind. “Have you met any other creatures that aren’t human in this world?” I feel so intrigued. I waited for him to answer and he looked like he wanted to laugh at me.

Wallowing in guilt and shame will only set me back, but the reason the demon got out of hell was because another, more powerful demon was on a death mission. Stop it, I tell myself. The lair is located on the North East side of Aravorn near the Dwarf Kingdom Ralux. It's said that they have carved out paths to Eclipse and Katusha by way of an underground catacomb that is all connected to this huge mountain surrounded by other mountains that have been carved out by brimstone and the fires of Hell.
