I blurted out the question. I noticed that his smile faltered. "Ethan Grant." He responded grimly before he turned away to look in front. "Ethan is the biggest douchebag in this college. He thinks he owns the place because his dad's the Dean. He likes to beat people up for fun." Skylar put in bitterly. I could feel my face contorting in disgust. What kind of a creep beat people up for fun? Maybe I could teach him a lesson or two. ************* "Hey Verena, wait up!" I heard Skylar's breathless voice call out from behind.

A greedy person is indeed a sinner, but why does he look so cool even with his sinner personality? Instead of being turned off, the feeling inside of me can’t get over his words. Taking my shirt off partially, I jabbed my nails into the top of my spine, pulling out my sword, Slayer Rhakis and summoned the portal to edge of The Demon Realm. Stepping inside, my senses were clear, smelling the first wave of demons a few miles away into hell. I waited patiently, pacing back and fourth and focusing my ears on Hunnie and Kris as I leaned against the cold and icy, black flesh of a pillar. The Realm's bridge was as wide and long as a football field and made up of squirming flesh. All around the bridge was pitch black, the only light coming from the glowing floor of flesh under my feet and the demons portal from Hell.

He was nearly overwhelmed with the urge to attack me, but when he noticed the men behind me place their hands on their guns that were strapped to their waist, he immediately lost his nerve. He could only hiss at me in a hushed voice. "I'll make you grovel at my feet for forgiveness once I earn 500 million dollars. You've won the battle for now, but you haven't won the war. I won't keep losing! As long as I have some money with me, I'll definitely be the one standing at the top in the end!" As expected, Ethan's greed would haunt him for the rest of his life. All I had to do was quietly sit back and watch as his greed consumed him.

They say it’s a well-paying job.” I stood there, dumbfounded for a few minutes. He seemed so calm, so self-assured—confident that I was in his debt until my death simply because I was a half-demon. It didn’t matter to him that without me, he would have died thrice; it was of no concern. He firmly believed that to keep my secret; I would become his cash cow. Yeah, right. His death was quick.

The demon could smell her purity, greed and avarice like the scent of ripening apples or the sweet, heavy scent of blooming dama de noche mixing with sampaguita. “Bring me wealth, power and influence. Bring me everything that my heart desires!” The demon cackled at her greed. He was still formless like a will-o-wisp. If she offered her body and power then he could achieve a corporeal form. “You’re a presumptuous witchling but I like your strong will."

Here I am Damien, the Devil's son. Now, do not get me wrong, I love to see pain brought to your face over and over, but this does not hold the same excitement it used to hold me before. It is the same as always, mostly, funny enough, it is not murder, yet they are my favorite ones to watch. What gets you down here is your own greed; you, yourself, will be your own downfall. Although I do love to watch you stew in your own mess, I do also sometimes crave the things that a man like me should not crave. Those little things that are forbidden.
