Zella’s POV The Two-Faced Demon is the one in charge of gambling. It is called two-faced because in the blink of an eye, it could make a beggar the wealthiest man on earth, and in the same second, make the wealthiest man on earth a beggar. This was the demon I sought to face next. It’s either it destroys me or I tame it and own it. And I have decided to use the Jade Stone business as a tool. It was a new week. For most people, it was just another week to do the same things over again; for some, it’s a chance to start something new and fresh, but for me, it’s another day and another week to grow and close in on my targets.

I stammered, panic rushing through me. "Just for tonight, let's not be the cop and the suspected gang leader." He said, breath fanning over my lips. "Just for tonight, I want to be the billionaire who's always thought his money could give him anything at all until he sees the most alluring woman in the world at his party and realizes he'd trade everything he's ever achieved just for her to look at him like he hung the moon in the sky." My breath hitched in my throat as his mouth opened over the side of my throat, dropping an open mouthed kiss that made my knees tremble.

"Human... how are you..." Lucien Desrosiers, the Demon King of the dark court, took one stunned step back. The noise behind him died at once. The hall was packed with elders, guards, and newly chosen sacrificial consorts, yet everyone seemed to forget how to breathe. Someone whispered, "She is not afraid of him? The Demon King's whole body carries the lust-curse. Any woman who gets too close starts collapsing within three seconds. Why is she fine?"

He even stepped aside for her, but stayed on the stage with her, looking like a strong ally. "The days of King Mammon are over..." Today is the day, that Greed will rise as the strongest kingdom of all!" The demons of Greed erupted into cheers, fists raised in celebration of their new queen. "Everybody is welcome to gift King Mammon one personal item. It will be placed in his catacomb, never to be seen again. A tribute to his reign." Elyse declared, prompting surprised reactions from the crowd.

His breath hitched, and for a long moment, the night held them — two souls who had clawed their way through hell to find heaven in each other’s arms. And then he whispered, his voice low but sure: “Darkness. Demons. Damnation. That’s what I was made of once. which Tainted my Desires” “But I’ve learned something, Castelle… even tainted hearts can crave light. Even the damned can choose redemption.” Castelle’s eyes shimmered. “And the demons?” Kane smiled faintly, glancing down at their children sleeping soundly at her side. “The demons,” he said softly, “learned to bow to love.”

I sit back in my seat and open my legs widely and take a deep breath emitting boredom. “I’m a demon.”

The man fell to the ground, screaming in pain while Ares just rolled his eyes and threw the eyeball on the ground and stomped on it because squatting in front of the man. He grabbed the man by the hair and lifted his head up so they were eye leveled. “I told you I don’t do second chances but you are someone I’ve known for so long so I don’t want to kill you off just like that but if you don’t find a way to get me rid of this demon the next time we meet, I won’t just be taking away your other eye but also your life. Got that?” He pushed the man to the ground as he stood up then turned to Cornelius with a groan.

I had nothing and I didn't think he would agree so easily. What would a half demon want?. "Just so you know, I have precious stones and jewelry that humans can die for. I also have a good place to live in and servant's to attend to me, so what can you possibly offer me?" He asked. I looked at the pin which was still stuck in my shoulder then back at him. "What do you want from me?" I asked back. He chuckled softly then became serious in a second. "Your virginity." He answered as I quickly took a few steps back.
