Crimson light flared beneath me. One by one, I spoke their names, words older than time itself. “Zarok… Fenris… Vyrax!” The ground trembled violently. A surge of heat exploded from the center, and the sky split open with thunder. The first to rise was Zarok, the Demon Beast, cloaked in fire and shadow. His body was made of molten armor, his eyes were like burning stars. He stretched his wings, shaking the air with a deep rumble.

Before Vargos could even register the insult or make a move, Raven dropped down and grabbed him by the throat with an iron grip. Using full force, Raven began sucking the life force straight out of him, doing the exact same thing Zariel had done to Maera earlier.
