The people following their trails to the village kept on cheering and singing their praises for the demon. They all feel superior among all humans living in this world. After three long decades, they finally summoned a demon who's able to cross both worlds whenever he wants. The eerie sound of the drum invaded their ears as they party and dance for Gideon. The giant trees stilled and everytime the wind blows in the area, thousands of leaves keep on falling as if they're dying due to a presence of an unearthly being. The townspeople butchered ten sheeps and cooked in a giant cauldron. And as the meat gets tender and tender, Gideon jumped in and decided to bath on a boiling water.

If I had known they worked for him, I would have listened to that faint voice in my head and ran hard and fast. I knew who he was before I arrived in this country. It was important that lone wolves like Hannah and I learned about the hierarchy of the most powerful packs and who not to cross. He came up on the top of the most feared. Muscles rippled beneath ash-coated skin as he stepped from the rift.

A moment later he returned, turning corporal once more and carrying her bags. "How did you do that?" He raised a brow, as if it were obvious. "I'm a spectral demon." "That is so cool. So you're like a ghost or something?" "Most humans who think they've seen a ghost are actually witnessing a spectral demon." Her curiosity racing she asked jokingly, "Can you go all Jedi and move things with your mind?" He cocked his head, as if he were about to give a lecture to a group of children. "Yes, when I go fully demonic I have telekinetic abilities. And I can't be harmed or killed. It makes my kind invaluable, especially on the battlefield."

“I’ll be seeing you soon, my little love birds. Unlike your poor friend here.” The demon’s cackle rang out from the lips of the Air Sorcerer before his face contorted into that of excruciating pain, the cackle giving way to a blood-curdling scream.

She flipped through the channels until she settled on someone singing about Demons. “When you feel my heat, Look into my eyes It’s where my demons hide, Don’t get too close It’s dark inside It’s where my demons hide At the curtain’s call, It’s the last of all When the lights fade out, All the sinners crawl So they dug your grave—” I was so lost in the song and those words that Daisy had to touch my shoulder to get my attention. “You okay?” I nodded. ‘This song... It’s very beautiful.’

Meanwhile, the candle light flared and the place began to glow in an eerie yellow light that made our shadows look larger than life. The two men began to chant loudly as the candle light flickered, becoming bright one second and going dull the next. Clarissa threw me a worried look but I was stuck…quite literally. I saw Yesmir whisper something to Clarissa who nodded her head frantically. “In the name of the Lord of Demons and Darkness, and in the name of all that is unholy and wicked, I call thee, O Great demon of the realm of wrath, upon this place. Arrive”

The demon was thrilled for two extremely powerful spiritual pressures coming after him, and he'd been wanting more excitement ever since his last brawl against Hayze. The excitement trickled away when the demon turned around, disgusted to see two black women as his opponents. "Sending monkeys after me is one thing... but just tell me ya ain't that Tubman monkey." The Hooded Demon's deep accent expressed hatred, his red spiritual aura began to expand with his anger. "I was expecting that boy from last time." Harriet coughed up a soft chuckle, giving a confident laugh at the demon that eased a few of Phuture's nerves.

Val and Damona gasped and were completely stunned. “Maybe your chant isn't strong enough. I can try to summon Kyrios.” Demonise uttered and walked towards Sabrina, then reached for the staff. My sisters looked at Demonise with a hopeful expression. Demonise chants a summoning spell. “Hear me out. Let my voice be heard in the deep abyss of darkness and hear my request. I shall command the spirit of the dragon devourer, Kyrios, to hear my plea and come to me. I summoned you!” After my sister chanted, the staff remained motionless. That time, my sisters broke into tears. Everyone was at a loss for words, except me because I’m everyone’s ray of hope.
