As I was saying, he went on as Pagomaris nearly wept, clapping her hands at her servants, sending them scurrying for something suitable to my taste, your opposition won't expect you to be ready since neither of you has experience. I beg to differ, I shot back. I've been in lots of fights. That helped me feel a little better. I'd been through a hell of a lot and managed to survive. Surely I could handle a demon or two considering the firepower I had at my disposal. I remind you, Sass sent, stern and almost harsh, no use of other powers. Only demon. Unless you want to be put to death? Oh crap. Gotcha. Slash attack, Sassy sent. Take out their shields first then work from the bottom up. Most don

Alpha Jones rushed after the Mage. The Mage grabbed a big book as he got back into his compartment. He opened it hurriedly. "You want to read?" Alpha Jones wondered. "We have a sleeping demon that will go on us full force whenever he wakes up, according to you, and you come here to grab a book?" he shook his head. "Our demon slayer is not around so we need to find a way to escape this problem. We can only find that in this book" the Mage replied with his full attention on the book.

“Now that everyone is present, we can finally properly discuss the matter.” Lord Harold was the first to speak. “What else is there to discuss?” And he immediately spoke as if he was not interested to continue. “We’ve discussed everything, solved the problem and we are only waiting for the execution of those demons.” His stubby arms crossed on his beard that grew to his chest. "The demon was summoned by the Scarlett Witch in her desperate attempt to escape. It was very powerful that many high ranked Hunters were killed. We did not live during the Scarlett War, however, assuming that their soldiers are equal to that, we will not survive." Leon said.

Queen Lilith said, pouring in a jar of blood in her cup. “Well if it pleases my queen I have gotten for you a demon slayer for your Legion. He is powerful and really deadly just how you want it!” Hades said warmly as the flames on his head turned blue. “Hmm…I see. What do you call him?” Queen Lilith asked, taking a sip of blood from her cup. “I call him Albunuf, a slay demon. He can be really helpful to you.” Hades said, pouring himself a cup of blood into his cup.

Thousands of soldiers from Yarroland's army were hidden in the forest as well. Although thermal weapons couldn't truly harm a Warrior at the Soul Awakening stage, they would be a distraction. Any slip-up in a battle between experts could mean the difference between life and death. "Sebastian!" Alain roared from among the crowd. What happened next shocked everyone. Alain's snow-white hair was turning black rapidly, and his white robe was slowly transforming into an obsidian suit of armor. Everyone there thought of a name at the same time—the Demon Slayer. Decades ago, the Demon Slayer had slaughtered all the inhabitants in countless villages in Yarroland. He was also the most mysterious entit

“You managed to obtain the Demon-Slayer Sword, but from what I know, it was already taken by Goyo, who is Waitara’s disciple. Could it be that you caused Goyo’s fall too?” James ignored his words and pushed his palm forward. Another black-white-amethyst-gold light headed straight to the Wuia Demon-Slayer Sword. In an instant, with the buzzing sound of the sword, the Wuia Demon-Slayer Sword seemed to gain new power and struck at lightning speed again. With the sound of an explosion, the cyclone was shattered instantly. However, the Demon-Slayer Sword was blocked again as it neared Dillon. “You are indeed very strong,” Dillon suddenly said. “But if you want to defeat me, it’ll take a lot of ef

I shouted at them angrily because they seemed to forget that they were in the middle of a war. They quickly followed even though they were surprised because they didn't expect to see me there. I helped in the fight. I strike a powerful kick that hit the neck of the demon which made it stagger. I immediately took advantage of that opportunity and quickly cut his neck and stabbed him in the heart. The black human-like demon fell to the ground and slowly turned into black fragments. The smell of demons stench in the air is so thick. I felt tired and from what I could see from the sentinels they were also struggling. My vision is not getting better and instead of the demons getting less, they ar

My fist glows and I uppercut her. Fist of the shard: Railgun. She shoots into the air, and I follow suit. She stops mid-air and hurls back downward. I can sense a black miasma around her now. A huge black hand appears beside her and shoots towards me. I slash it in half, but it reforms into ropes and bind me. A purple sigil is in front of her now and I watch as she passes through it, totally transforming. Clad in black armour, and brandishing a huge blade, I recognize the familiar demon magic. “Possession”, I say as she fires a blast of hellfire at me. My dome blocks the fire, but not for long. I tear off the binds and release my second shard level. I dodge the burst of flames and fly at her

“I was gonna apologize for bailing you. I should have been there with you while you were recovering, but looking at you so sick and in a lot of pain that I’ve caused, it hurt, and the guilt and that demon just got into my head, and I let it in. I should have fought it and realized sooner that what demons do, is taunt and haunt and feed humans and us with our guilt and mistakes. I’m so sorry.” “You don’t have to apologize. You did what was right and you saved me.” “Stop saying I saved you when I almost killed you.” “To save my soul. I think that’s beyond plausible.” I smiled. “Coffee? Or is it that every time you see me, you see that asshole, too?” “He’s beyond an asshole. He’s a demon.” “You
