Despite the light emanating from the Pentacle, the air was icy cold. Then the ground seemed to crack wider open like a glass and pouring through the shards came a horde of dark shapes, humanoid but twisted, gnarled and faceless, howling out a soundless scream that punctured the ears of the witch. It did not seem to affect Aosoth though. She cackled and her beetle-like eyes grew bright with a manic light as she raised her hands higher and the demons poured forth. Icy wind burned the witch as more humanoid demons came through the band of light within the Pentacle. The air stank of sulphur and ashes.

Demon stopped tickling the little boy and looked to make sure there was no ooze on him. It was out of habit he did this, for he had not left a bit of ooze on anyone or thing since Evelynn and Gammy had done the spell on him. He looked at his hands and arms, which were black but had not oozing thick stuff falling off all around him. The ooze had solidified and now looked similar to skin only slightly thicker. Which was pretty cool because it seemed that nothing would stab through it. Demon decided he had his own suit of armor in a sense. He wore it all day, every day, and never had to remove it. Surely, a mate would be attracted to that, Demon thought.

I asked seriously. "When in the meeting a suggestion of having our warriors wear armor was given, I took it seriously. Each warrior and demon fighting now has an invisible armor on, its ability is to absorb the anointing from any weapon turning it into a regular weapon. Because of that, our warriors have an upper hand which makes them take down the human warriors easily." She answered and then gave a low bow. When I turned my head I found Ducan standing in front of me with the hero's head still In his hand.

A gasp escaped my lips as I became aware of the actual height of the monster about to step out of its world into mine. It was covered in dark, ugly iron steel-like armour from head to toe, and the only sign or feature of its body was the red demonic glow that I was guessing was his eyes. A dark metal armour helmet thingy with horn-like extensions protected his head. I wasn't sure it was protected; hidden was the better word in this context. He turned his gaze to me as he stood before us in his full, horrible glory.

Cosmic Darkness is not a good choice in this kind of situation. “Dark Celestial-Divine Magic: Dark Knights!” I shouted and then, I pointed my celestial weapon that had turned into scepter to the swarm of lowly demons. Many knights wearing heavy metal black armors appeared on the air simultaneously and they came with black Pegasus. They attacked the enemies nonstop, slashing them from everywhere until those demons become smithereens of black ashes.

Finally, the head and torso rose from the pit, a nightmare given form. The demon general stood at least ten feet tall. Its armor wasn't just made of bone, it was made of bones, thousands of them fused together and still writhing as if trying to escape. Its face was a skull covered in scarred flesh, with burning red eyes set deep in the sockets. Massive horns curved from its temples, carved with symbols that hurt to look at. In one hand it carried a sword as long as I was tall, the blade wreathed in black flames that seemed to devour the light around them. The entire battlefield fell silent. Cultists and warriors alike froze, staring at the demon general in primal terror.

“Boy, just surrender!” With that, his palm strength became even more powerful than before, its momentum becoming more intense. “Surrender? Ridiculous!” As Andrius spoke, he took out something from his ring and put it on. It was a chainmail armor that was enveloped with true energy. Wilson’s father had prepared this for Wilson when he left the Dark Demon Sect. The armor had a certain defensive effect against the true energy of immortal cultivators, demonic cultivators, and fiend cultivators.

Iris said, and Roger nodded. “Now, Arman, Dominic, Stavros… I need to have a balance of all the armed forces available… We need to know the headcount and level of training. They were looking at the nightmare towering over them. Dominic stood less than five paces from the prince. He hadn't even drawn his blade; his bare hands were curled into massive, trembling claws, and his royal armor groaned under the sheer force of his muscles expanding. His eyes were completely black, the amber irises swallowed entirely by a void of lawless, psychotic madness. A low, demonic vibration rattled deep within his chest, a sound so ancient and predatory that it made the glass windows in the high arches vibrate.
