Demonic Blades Novels & Stories

“Fuck, it’s Thorne.” Serenity blinked as Thorne’s stance changed, his center of gravity lowering and slowly, two thin blades slid from the inside of his jacket sleeves. She tried to melt back against the wall, as Thorne readied himself, but she was also morbidly fascinated to see the demon fight.

It looked dangerous… sacred… and strangely familiar. “The Blade of Tenebris,” I murmured, recalling the words I’d once tried so hard to forget. “It cuts not flesh, but spirit. A single strike leaves enemies hollow, their will severed. It was quenched in the Void during the First Apex War. Every wielder leaves behind a fragment of their soul.”

The blade glistens in the sun, showing that it's made completely of silver. "XANDER! STOP!" Darius shouts at him. Xander takes a quick look behind him, baring his teeth as he does so. It no longer looks like he's human. Rather he's become more demonic than human. Without blinking, Xander stabs the knife, aiming for my chest. I manage to block his blow, but just barely. Xander manages to knock me to the ground, falling on top of me. I raise my hand up to prevent the blade from coming any closer.

Damn ghoul. He slowly stands up, letting his blood drip on the floor. He's showing off that he can still fight. I grimace. The smell is awful. My wings expand and elongate into dangerous spikes. They curl around my body in a fashion like a giant hand, poised to strike at any second. "You've gotten more scared," he whispers. He smiles more, revealing his teeth. Licking it, he starts to step closer. I lash out, cutting his chest. He jumps back with a hiss, hitting the lockers. More blood drips onto the floor into tiny pools.

Blades etched with cryptic symbols glow softly when enemies near. ‎Stats: ‎- Damage: Quick, stealthy stabs (low damage, high crit chance) ‎- Range: Close combat (bonus in tight spaces) A spark pain tore through my chest. “Come on, so I don't even deserve a decent weapon? I lost everything and this damn game can't even offer me a fighting chance." I mumbled to myself my vision blurred with rage. “Screw this sick Demon games."

With a sudden, supernatural burst of strength, he yanked his broadsword back and swung it in a frantic, unhinged blur. I raised my blade to parry, my boots sliding over the slick stone floor. But the demonic strength driving his steel was immense, far heavier than any standard Alpha weight I had ever faced on the border. The brutal impact shattered my defensive stance. I staggered backward, my breath catching in my throat as a wave of sulfurous heat rolled off his armor, nearly blinding me.

“You will only train with your hellblades as I said” Adem and Adlee pouted but dared not say a thing Uncle Eren opened the box he had carried in his bag and peeled back the silk cloth. My heart jumped when I saw the blades again: crescents of metal glowing faintly, humming with a strange, dark energy. One by one he handed them to my friends. I sat down slowly on a bench at the side, my legs still weak, my eyes tracing every corner of the room. My throat ached, but curiosity overtook my pain. The weapons looked curious. How many lives had they really taken?

However, as soon as they ran ten steps ahead, they were blown away by Sporus’s attack. “Blade!” “Sword!” An old man’s voice emerged from behind Tyr and Dillon at that precise moment. When they turned around, they noticed Demi’s appearance. It was unclear how long he had been standing there, but he held a blade and a sword in his hand. Those were the Celestial Blade and the Sword of Grace. “Catch them.” Demi, who was more than twenty meters away, threw both weapons at the duo. Tyr and Dillon immediately stretched out their hands and grabbed their respective weapons in their hands.

The weapons glowed with strange symbols. "What–" Maddie began but started to cough. Smoke had filled the room. The burning demon was still running around the diner. The other three demons were crouched, and growling like rabid dogs, their saucerlike eyes glowing with a manic light. One of them let out a loud howl like a wolf and pounced towards Cassie. She screamed and there was a sudden hot burst of light as the sword in her hand blazed up. Cassie leaped forward, sweeping her weapon at the demon, her skirt billowing behind her. In the light of the Celestial Blade, the demon’s appearance was unpleasantly visible: black, scaly skin, a gaping black hole for a mouth, bulging, orblike eyes, and

Azrael wields the Blade in grace, power and glory. The Blade’s gold hilt with black crystals, the luminous, silvery and steely blade with details of diamonds and golden runes looks incredibly stunning in Azrael’s hands, “After a thousand year, I think the oldest Damned title would be passed right down tonight.” she stated. Her voice is remarkably thrilling.
