“All together boys! One shouted and they all jumped up the dais steps. As they jumped they suddenly found themselves hanging in the air unable to move as Ruben encased them in a spell which stilled the air around them taking away their momentum and their ability to breathe. As they floating in the air, choking for their last breaths Ruben looked out over the rest of the demons. “Anyone else?” A ripple of sullen despair went through the crowd. The three demons were suddenly ripped apart by a strong rapid gust of wind, their blood raining down upon the crowd.

The scent of the demon was stronger now, a sharp, acrid odor that filled the air. The demon stood in the center of the hut, unmoving, like a grotesque statue. Claud approached it slowly, every sense on high alert. He reached out, his fingers brushing against the demon’s cold, unyielding flesh. For a moment, it remained lifeless, and then suddenly, a voice echoed through the air, commanding it to attack.

Byron cackled, his voice dripping with twisted delight. "Think you can run from it? These desires come from inside you, from your own body, your own heart. The Demonic Art reaches beyond death itself. There is no escaping it." He let out a cold, satisfied sneer. Suddenly, a massive cloud of black mist, threaded through with a sickly pink haze, exploded outward and blanketed the entire sky above the Umbral Peak Sect.

People are gasping. “OH FUCK NO!” Damien says with disgust. The old Alpha in question was his uncle, and he was a slimy bastard. Damien knows, but he never knew this. His parents never knew either.
