Der Eisendrache Shield Locations Novels & Stories

"Aldric confirmed two of the entry points she identified, our people found evidence of recent scouting." "She was telling the truth," I said. "About Drest's approach," he said carefully. "Yes," I agreed. The question of what else she'd been truthful about sat quietly between us. Neither of us touching it today, honestly today wasn't for that. "Positions are set," he continued. "Eastern approach covered, northern ridge has doubled guard and the vault entrance is sealed from our side." He looked at me. "Elowen placed additional protections on the crown." "What kind of protections?"

"But it doesn't matter now. If Matthias has him, he’s using him to draw us out. Look." She spread out a blueprint of a massive estate nestled in the coastal cliffs. "This is Matthias’s primary residence. It’s a fortress. Jace is being held in the sub-level—the 'Red Zone.' It’s where Matthias keeps the things he wants to break slowly." Elijah leaned over the table, his eyes scanning the blueprints with a soldier’s focus. "There’s crazy security there right now." "We don't have to," Kaela said, pointing to a ventilation shaft. "There’s a blind spot in the sensor grid near the servants' entrance. If we—"

Then the child—Evryn—looked up from the corner. “I know where she is.” Everyone turned. Evryn stood slowly, her silver eyes glowing faintly. “I saw it. When I touched the Citadel’s core… I saw everything she ever hid. She’s on Terra 7. Underground. Deep beneath the ruins of Eden's Vault.” Kira blinked. “Eden’s Vault was destroyed five years ago.” “No,” Evryn said, stepping closer. “She just made everyone think it was. It’s still there. She's been hiding in the shadows, waiting for someone like me.”

### The Geography of the Hunt In the war room of the Apex Suites, Rhys had replaced the local maps with a global heat-map. Thousands of tiny, violet pulses dotted the Northern Hemisphere—the signatures of the "Glitched" and "Abyssal" shifters who had been touched by Elara’s frequency. Overlapping these dots were sharp, red icons: the Fenris Strike Teams.

~056 Ashes of Memory The aircraft tore through the clouds, cutting across a sky. Below, the snow-draped Alps looked serene-an ironic canvas for the war unfolding beneath. Inside the cabin, Bella adjusted her gear while Clara monitored live drone feeds. Xavier sat across from her, watching her in that quiet way he did when words felt too small. "Final approach in five minutes," Elodie said over comms. "Echo Prime's core base is built into the north face. Subterranean. We'll need to breach from the glacial entry."

He's the king of his castle. I continued working until I got two confirmed pings in one location. The third ping came from her vehicle which was miles away from her ring and cell. "She's in the warehouse district! What the fūck is she doing there this late?" I said out loud to everyone but nobody in particular. "Caleb, Todd and Papa with me. Angelo and Gerald, go check out her vehicle. Spare key under the rear driver wheel well. Meet us at the warehouse." I told them. We all scrambled to get into the vehicles we came in.

Chapter 58 The city blurred past the windows as Riven drove. My side burned with every bump in the road, fresh blood soaking through the bandage and into my shirt. I pressed my palm against it, jaw clenched. The pain kept me sharp. It reminded me that this wasn’t over. Riven’s hands were tight on the wheel. “Elias’s last known location is the old warehouse district. Same area as before. He’s not answering his phone.” “Of course he’s not.” I checked the magazine in my gun again. Full. “He knows we’re coming.”

“They don’t fly through space like birds; they move through the Ley Lines of the planet itself. If we can seize the remaining Nodes—the ones Malakai and the Aegis never found—we can create a planetary shield. We can lock the Gate from the inside and tell the Architects that this house is no longer for sale.” “But the Nodes are scattered across the globe,” Silas said, appearing in the doorway. His face was a mess of bandages, but his milky-white eyes were sharp and focused. “One is in the desert of the Red Wasteland. One is beneath the ruins of the Northern Spire. And the final one... the Prime Node... is in the heart of the Human Capital.”

Before the tension could snap completely— One of the guards spoke urgently. “Sir, we’ve tracked the signal.” Adrian turned instantly. “Where?” “It’s bouncing, but we have a temporary location.” Elena’s heart leapt. “Where are they?” The guard hesitated. Then: “A warehouse district. Near the docks.” Adrian didn’t waste a second. “Prepare the car.” Elena grabbed his arm. “I’m coming.” “No.” “Yes.” “It’s not safe.” “They have my father!” “They want you there,” he snapped.

Tank simply nodded, as though this confirmed something he had suspected for some time and simply not mentioned. Dax looked at her. She looked back. Between them, in the space that had no language adequate to it, something shifted and settled into a new configuration, the way a rebuilt engine settles after the first full start, everything finding its proper relation to everything else. "The six immune carriers you've located," Dax said, turning back to Elias Vorn. "Where are they?" "Three are on this continent, inside the Citadel. Two are in the Pacific zone. One is in what remains of the southern hemisphere."
