Der Eisendrache Shield Locations Novels & Stories

“Tell me the location, Zephyr. Right now. I need to get to my babies.” Zephyr glanced at me briefly, then back to his screens. His fingers moved faster. “Working on it,” he said calmly, though his tone had sharpened with focus. “The Shadowveil is still active, but I can give you the physical location it’s shielding. It’s not far — an old abandoned warehouse complex on the edge of neutral territory, about forty minutes from here if you move fast.”

Once she found it, she touched the invisible shield to understand its nature and determine her course of action. With the information she needed, Elena began pacing the area, muttering counter spells under her breath to break down the shield. Despite sweating, she persisted, repeatedly touching the weakening shield. It wouldn't be long before it fell, allowing them to continue their search. Hours later, Garrett welcomed the troop led by Whales and the Beta of the Moonshadow pack. They all awaited Elena, but as the sun began to set, and it grew late, Garrett noticed Lois's concern and approached her.

“Where did you get this?” “Let’s just say my inheritance.” Cvetko swallowed, then placed a thin black drive on the table. “This will get you into Echo Station. Deep beneath the ruins of the Rakovica fortress. Abandoned, except not entirely. If Voss left a shadow, it’s there.” That Night, Rakovica Fortress The group moved through crumbling stairwells, winding past collapsed walls and buried corridors. At last, they reached a rusted steel door with biometric sensors, dead for decades.

I watch as they shovel dirt back over the coffin full of secrets, erasing the wound we made but I can’t unsee it. Elia’s grave was a lie, a mask built over machinery by dawn, I’m back in the safe house. The drives line the table like a row of tombstones. I connect the first one, EDEN-01 to my system. Encrypted, but not impenetrable. Whoever built the security assumed no one would ever dig them up. The interface blooms across the screen, dark and sterile. A rescue drone hovered nearby, searching for survivors beneath debris. She walked the edge of the perimeter with local Echo operatives. One of them a junior logistics manager named Mateo handed her a charred piece of metal from the original Echo crest mounted inside the safehouse. It had been twisted in the heat, edges sharp, but the initials E.C.H.O. still shone faintly beneath the ash. “This survived,” he said softly. Lena took it in her palm. “So will we.” Back in Geneva, a report from Faiza arrived.

She exited first, weapon drawn, adrenaline surging—but not war. Betrayal roared through her mind, loud and unforgiving, drowning out reason. Grayson followed, quiet and still haunted. Rosa and Logan approached. “Coordinates lead to Dock 16. Creed’s lab is underground. But aerial scanners caught multiple armored guards.” Elena nodded, not looking at Grayson. They advanced through mist-shrouded alleyways into the subterranean slick. Water dripped from corroded pipes; monitors glowed in green ruin. They moved with guarded steps, Sophie and Rose under Rosa’s watchful guard behind.

The wind screamed through the valley like something warning them back. Elias disembarked in silence. His coat heavier now. A Lancaster emblem stitched into the inner collar. Charlotte followed behind him, armed and ready. Shade scanned the perimeter, eyes narrowed. “No snipers. No heat signatures.” “That we can see,” Sophie added. Robert stayed in the rear, watching their backs. Elias approached the entrance. No locks. No keypad. Just a handprint scanner—half-buried in snow. He placed his palm on it. It lit green.

The air near the East River had a sour chill to it, like old metal and older secrets. Isolde tightened the collar of her black trench as she stepped out of the car, gravel crunching beneath her heels. Dorian killed the engine, eyes already scanning the deserted docks. Warehouse 17 loomed like a forgotten tomb, its iron shell coated in decades of industrial grime. But its recent security feed accessed by Penelope’s ghosted node showed signs of movement just hours ago.

The building’s entrance was unguarded, the doors unlocked—a detail that immediately put Damian on edge. “Too easy,” he muttered, signaling for the others to stay alert. Inside, the facility was dimly lit, rows of shelves stretching into the distance. The air was stale, heavy with the scent of dust and disuse. Alex's voice crackled in their earpieces. “Look for anything marked with Elena’s insignia. If this place was important to her, it’ll stand out.” The team spread out, searching the shelves and crates. Sage found a box of encrypted hard drives, while Drake uncovered a stash of outdated weapons.

New Frontlines The safehouse was located deep in the Swiss Alps, shielded by towering pines and accessible only by a narrow, winding path. Snow blanketed the ground, muffling the sound of their arrival. The team moved with military precision, scanning the area for threats before entering the cabin. Inside, the air was heavy with tension. Elena stood at the head of the room, her sharp gaze fixed on the screen displaying a global map. Red dots marked known Hydra operations, and several pulsed ominously, indicating recent activity.
