Descendants 2 Jay Novels & Stories

I just finished reading the last book when I started to write Descent for real! The title when this was still a draft was actually ‘Can’t Help Falling (In Love With You)’ because I was listening to the same song only the dark version at the time. But I got annoyed because I felt it was too freaking long to be a title. For a time, I settled calling the story "Fall from Grace" in my head but it still felt wrong... so when I searched for a synonym, the meaning of the word descent.. clicked; it feels like it perfectly sums up the entire plot.

“Now listen -” “What you’re doing is wrong Gabriel. These descendants pose no threat to you or to humans. Quite the contrary in fact.” It was that word again. Descendant. Descendant of what, he wondered. “The way you think of yourself is also wrong, but it is not your fault. You should have been educated in our ways. You should have been mentored, although your hunting is quite unique. I’ve never come across a vampire that tries to kill, what he thinks, are his own kind. Not in all these years.”

“Eric is taking me back to Colorado, though. Then he’s flying on with Damien to California. Damien has business there.” Jayden finished the last bite of his burnt marshmallow s’more. “Why is it you never wanted me to manage your money for you?” Hailey had never asked, but Jayden would have gladly invested her fortune like he had for Gavin and Damien, turning her large inheritance into billions. It was what he did best which is making some money grow into a lot more.

I threatened him but instead of getting scared, Maclen just laughed at me which annoyed me big time. "What the hell is so funny about your death, Maclen?" I asked him irritated. "Come on, Zuck, I already knew you since when we were still kids and I know that you always want your hands clean as much as possible, and you love how I work which means you're not gonna kick me out of the mafia." Maclen's cocky response and I hate to admit it but everything he said was true. I'm not innocent, I already killed someone before but I'm trying my best to be clean as much as possible.

Jayden said. "You? No way!" Hugo was taken aback. "Why not? Considering my status, we are already paying him respect for me to go to the hotel with you. Is that not enough?" Jayden said with annoyance. As a direct descendent of the second generation, he was talented and long reached the Initial Almighty State despite being suppressed by Josiah. His strength surpassed Josiah, who was only in the Semi-Almighty State. It was no exaggeration to say that he was the actual leader of the second generation and was valued by Caleb and the elder.

Muna asked and Dexter chuckled. “ Really are they cute ? ” He said. “ Yes or are they not ? ” Muna answered him back with a question. “ Of course they are cute but do you want to know who they are ” Dexter said. “ Yes ” Muna said and thought that they must be the children of who they came to visit in such beautiful mansion but the next words she heard from Dexter got her shocked and flabbergasted. “ This one standing over here is our Alpha Jayden and this is his twin brother Alpha Kayden...This was when they were little about ten years old I guess ”

The voice dies down and he changes back to his normal self and teenage voice “Dad it hurts” he pleads in Jayden’s voice “This body shall no longer be in your possession. Depart from it at once demon” A violent wind ensues only inside the house, the wind turns into a moaning tornado until it goes up to the roof and disperse. Jayden lays lifeless on the floor and I stagger close to him while breathing heavily. Haley comes out again from her hiding place, she sits next to me looking at Jayden “He’s handsome. Just like his Dad” she said and I smile

Tsss. (Jay POV) I'll be dead to Master Jeoff if I didn't do anything here. The Elder and us will be checkmates if we didn't get back to our strategy. Then my phone rang and I was really calling him since a while ago. You no longer have to think about anything Jay, I sent something there. Make sure that they'll be testing that and the result will be positive that Master Jeoff is the father of the kids." Because of what Dex have told me...but how..mm

Jay only sticks to one thing: "Red Eyes' destiny is immortality and I give it to you freely. If time succeeds in taking it away one day, then there is no longer any reason for you to be immortal. Only then can you return to me, my son." Jay stood firmly, nailing Jemma's back fiercely. Jay's screams rose to the sky, making fangs run towards the enemy. He didn't care even if another cartridge was inserted to crush the heart. However, the girl by Jay's side chose to care more than herself.
