Turning back, I noticed Hayden still seated on the car hood, his gaze fixed on me. I rolled my eyes and gestured for him to join me. It took him a moment to rise, but he eventually slipped off his shoes, leaving them beside mine, before making his way toward me. Drawing closer, he wore a mischievous smirk, furrowing my brows in confusion. Upon entering the water, he stooped down, retrieving something and playfully tossing it into my hair. As I felt it move, I instantly recognized it as a sea cockroach. Letting out a scream, I swiftly plucked it from my hair and flung it onto his head. Chuckling, he calmly removed it, meeting my gaze.

His face turned into a frown. "Of course I can! Led the way." "I can't believe you're scared cause of a cockroach! That terrestial shrimp." I huffed. "Don't dare me woman! Just kill the goddamned thing and leave my room now!" He said. I kept quiet and he showed me his way to his bathroom. Poor thing was struggling to leave the bathtub. I removed my two flip-flops, holding the cockroach with it. It suddenly fell from my flip-flops to his leg and he ran far away from us.

I said, glaring at Kian from the corner of my eyes. “Indeed,” he said. “Must be a really stubborn one.” “Scared of a rat! And cockroaches?” Christian said impassively, looking around. “Wow. I had to live for Leoric's sake if not for anyone else. I held my jaw thinking of a possible way out, I needed to get out of there before anyone noticed my absence. As I searched around, I felt something crawling on my back and that too in my dress. For some moments, I stood still, studying whatever it was, it was tickling but in a scary way. I feared it was what I thought it was. Slowly I reached out to it, praying quietly. It was a cockroach, I leapt and screamed out my, I could feel that blood wasn't supplying to the brain and then everything went black.

Sucking in a deep breath, I leaned in the chair, downing my coffee when I felt something weird in my mouth as a strange sensation tingled on my tongue causing me to pause. With a sudden jolt, I spat whatever was in my mouth immediately and my heart almost jumped out of my chest when my eyes landed on a dead cockroach.
