I shouted as her sudden announcement shook my settling composure. "There, it's beside the pink glass cup," she was literally crying on top of her voice as she she pointed towards the counter. I walked towards it and found the pea sized cockroach. It was dead and didn't look like it had lived more than a day. "It's so tiny though," I observed, "but it's dead," I looked at her with confusion. Her actions seemed exaggerated,but I knew better than to tell that to an emotional woman.
