Mafia’s Plaything (#1 of Mafia Series)

Mafia’s Plaything (#1 of Mafia Series)

The whole place had his scent and I almost gagged in disgust. I sat on the old leather chair and leaned into it. Frank produced an old ledger with cracked covers and dropped it on the table in front of me. I opened the book and skimmed through the pages that I had read before. I had no time to start reading the damn book until I opened it further to see a small rectangular hole made inside. Inside the hole was a black flash drive. Curious, I fished it out of the old book and studied it closely. "I read the book but there was nothing about how to destroy an underground world, but I am willing to bet that the drive has something that may help," Frank said to me.

INNOCENCE || BOOK 2

More than anything, she was concerned about her friend. **** This book is sequel to the first book Innocence. You have to read the first book to know the story clearly. The first book "Innocence" is available here on my Goodnovel profile. And then comes the second book "Innocence || book 2". Thanks for reading. Please vote and comment :)

The Hidden Souls Trilogy

The Hidden Souls Trilogy

he spoke softly with a wink. Why is everyone so insistent on me taking a break?! “I'm fine, Detective Riley.” Before he could protest, I reported to him about the disappearance of our witness, Mrs. Rosenthal, the picture she had with my mother, her extensive collection of occult books, and the one that had mysteriously fallen into our possession. I omitted the encounter with the spirit. If Liam, my own partner/lover didn't believe me, I knew for sure he wouldn't either.

Emily and The Wolves

Emily and The Wolves

So pack up and let's go! "All right," he said doomedly, rising from his chair. - Do you know anything about the victim? - Nothing, except that it's a girl again. Fourth girl this week. I wonder who needed to kill them in such a cruel way? - I do not know. He shrugged, spreading his arms slightly out to the sides. The men left Detective Jonathan Black's office. The best in the business. On his account there was not a single unsolved crime for all four years that he worked in the police.

How do you find the story so far? I hope you're enjoying it. Mrs. M is the third book in Love For The Wicked Series. 1|Devin 2|Evan 3|Mrs. Martinelli, The Perfect Mafia Wife. My other completed books. ~Dangerous Desire Series~ 1|Falling For My Husband 2|A Game With No Rules Promise Me Jake ~ Teen Romance [A sad love story.] HellBound: The Last Tribute ~ Fantasy/Mystery Romance All of my books are stand-alone. But following the series order would be the best way to read Love For The Wicked and Dangerous Desire.

Oh I love it... I love their story a lot (compared to Dev and Evan though, sorry). Love the excitement and thrill of the action. I like Rylee's character-I'm picturing Sydney Bristow haha ... And Klaus such charming and a joker .... A RomCom+action you did great on this one author. Kudos .........
Allie
Another great book by this author. I enjoyed reading the first two books (Devin and Ethan). Loved this story with Klaus and Rylee. Had my heart beating so quickly at times. Felt their heartache when they had trouble getting pregnant, and was glad they were finally blessed.

BROKEN SERIES BOOK ONE: DARKER THAN NIGHT

BROKEN SERIES BOOK ONE: DARKER THAN NIGHT

I said, skepticism heavy in my voice. "Guys, I don’t think it’s suicide!" Zubby suddenly interjected, moving toward a table where a red velvet cake sat. "The note says so…" Lisa began, but her voice trailed off as she watched Zubby inspect the cake. "This cake is quite suspicious. Everything in this house is old and dusty, like it hasn’t been used in a while. But this cake… it looks new, and it’s half-eaten," Zubby noted, his detective instincts kicking in.

Dark Escape (Book 1 of Dark Escape Duo)

Dark Escape (Book 1 of Dark Escape Duo)

It was a perfect fit. Tara scoped the room for a place to put it. Maggie insisted she keep the book safe. The second-floor den had an enormous bookcase built into the wall. If she placed it on the top shelf it could easily blend in with the array of books of all shapes and sizes that were stuffed, shoved and crammed in rows from floor to ceiling. She felt a little light headed when she stood up. She couldn’t decide if it was from the power emanating from the book she held close to her chest or simply because she stood up too fast. Whatever the reason, she took the time to stand still and wait for her equilibrium to come back before heading off to the den. ****

LT. Chris Angeles - Monster Among Men (Detective Series)

I retaliated quickly. "You just got lucky with that missing kid and with Danilo Proctuso, remember that." Guzman tried to act tough. "Yeah? How about you? The self-proclaimed golden boy. What have you done so far? Well, aside from doing inventory at the evidence room, huh?" Chris was about to turn his back on Guzman when he speaks. "I don't do inventory; I'm the newest detective of this station. You got that?" Guzman said, full of pride.

The Compound (The Compound series book1)

The Compound (The Compound series book1)

Clara. We followed the trail for three days mostly on foot, back tracking every few hours to move the trucks before edging forward again. We found signs of three more places he had likely stayed in and all indicated that he was still clean, alive and mostly unharmed. Eventually the blood trail dried up completely and we started going house to house, looking for signs of recent disturbances, foot steps in the dust, things missing off shelves, half eaten food. It was a full week into our assignment when we stepped into a house with a small fire still lit in the hearth and a warm cup of tea on the table.”
