I held my breath, waiting for him to strike. White lightning streamed through their van’s windows, illuminating that part of Richmond Park. More gunshots rang through the air, but none smashed through the glass. I clenched my fists and breathed hard to remain calm. Beki gave me a questioning bark. “Loki had to disguise himself so he could get close to the enforcers.” She tilted her head to the side. “It was just a guess that Captain Caria would be there, but she seems to be Hades’ number-one henchwoman.”

I'm simply having a little chat with the professor. “Thank you, Officer Gilbert, from here I can take it,” Detective told Gilbert to move on from the case, so Detective can proceed. Gilbert eyed Cherry and passed on. The detective introduced herself by extending her hand to Mr Alex, “Hello, Sir. I am Detective Liroza.” Cherry stepped away from the cops with fake courage, and when Detective noticed his anxiety, Cherry sat on the garden bench with a deep exhale. Mr Alex greeted Detective. “I’ve heard about you, Miss Liroza. You are doing a great job at your young age.”

He held the fairy to the wall and strangled her to death. Once he had committed the crime he came to his sense and realized what he had done. ‘Hide the body!.’ Loki whispered into the man's mind. The man looked left and right and pulled the fairy’s body into his hotel room. Loki is an inner Demon, that Demon that tells you negative things in your mind, sometimes it seems as though that Demon took a hold of a person and controls everything one does. After a while it seems as though the Demon fled when the crime has been successfully committed leaving the person to face what he or she has done.

Loki had always been my wise and comforting companion, but now, he displayed signs of concern. "Listen to Ashford, Alexei," Loki's voice resonated in my thoughts. "This isn't a wise path to follow. Sneaking into the pack house could lead to grave consequences. The guards are everywhere, and you risk exposing yourself to danger." Despite Loki's warnings, my determination was unwavering. My overwhelming desire to see Tori had clouded my judgment, and I responded with a hint of stubbornness, "Loki, I understand the risks, but I can't wait any longer. I need to see Tori. It's something I must do."

Because the men were outside the door, I couldn't hear most of their conversations. Loki drew my attention when I noticed how he kept his mouth open while looking up at the men dressed in blue uniforms, possibly police officers. Loki is so focused on them, that I giggle because he's so cute.

“He looks like someone I'd seen before, like someone famous…” I sat up and Lorraine filtered through the pictures, trying to find one where his face was clearer. She did and zoomed in on it. “Like I said, very famous…” “In our pack or…” “That's the thing, I don't know.” She let out an exasperated sigh. “My memory is what's stopping me from being one of the Pack's best detectives.” “Just your memory?” I teased. Lorraine frowned. “You bully. Don't worry, I'll Sherlock Holmes my way out of this mystery.”
